RSI of the FTSE100 is on the floor so perhaps there is not much more to go if any - hopefully JMAT will start to recover soon:

I don't think this is specific to JMAT or the sector itself. The downtrend is across the board and behaving as if the markets anticipate a possible correction. Software/IT, Miners, Retail and House builders are dropping everyday. If one looks at the performance of the S&P/DOW/Nasdaq over the last 10 years, it's logical to expect a correction at some point. This is without the outcome of Russia/Ukraine conflict, China possibly attempting invading Taiwan and the BRICS becoming an economic threat to the West. The markets horizon is becoming a big question mark.

There is no specific issue today. Its across the board.

Probably related to downgrade of USA by Fitch.

Directors share plans all kicking in today, could be a reason for drop as many will sell or sell to cover tax.

Interesting webinar on the Catalyst technologies business - there really does seem to be a lot of multi-year growth potential in that business linked to decarbonisation of e.g. power, aviation etc. Funding courtesy of the US IRA, the EU and a small amount from the UK. A business which could be a huge beneficiary of net zero aspirations on a PER of less than 10x... I'm in.

Blackrock nearly doubled their short in the last two weeks after reducing in April. Marshall Wace also adding to short.
JMAT now 20th most shorted UK share.

There's a post on here that seems to be holding this share back so hopefully it will disappear down the line a bit and the share will keep going back up.
