17/3/2008 10:24 | juju43: Noted. Today is a very good example of the strength of this share ..FTSE down > 100 points but Wood Group is up 3p. | wendsworth
09/3/2008 17:24 | easy over the next year | juju43
09/3/2008 17:02 | silverfern: My sentiments entirely. I'm so pleased that I bought back in and last week's performance in the face of extreme volatility in general markets demonstrates the point. Wood Group's results were very good and the company is in the right sector for growth and corporate activity. For what its worth I've pencilled in a target price of 500p and I reckon I'll get it! | wendsworth
05/3/2008 15:11 | Look how cautious the current market is. DGO- Dragon Oil posted results today. And at first they were marked down. now up 6%. I'd rather have my money in WG. than in a bank, and I don't just mean my investment funds! | silverfern
05/3/2008 13:49 | ffraid i got back out yesterday so as to grab the RBS divi!!!! My thoughts were right on this though and a good article in todays Herald. Whats the score on the Divi on this as on Digital Look it gives ex divi day 19/3 bit shows it as 30 cents?? | aspers
05/3/2008 12:39 | erratum: that should read 'only The TELEGRAPH and the FT give Wood's results any space'. | lobby ludd
05/3/2008 12:38 | No 'comment' on the results in The Times, Telegraph, The Indie or Ft today. And, in a crowded day for results, only The Times, and FT give Wood's results any space. | lobby ludd
05/3/2008 12:33 | A director has just bought 10k. He thinks this is too low as well! | silverfern
05/3/2008 07:49 | I notice that Hunting rose initially on results, fell and in the following days rose strongly. With the Dow having recovered much of its losses yesterday, and having had several down days and therefore, perhaps, due for a rally, I would be surprised if there is not some progress today. | jodi17qad
04/3/2008 12:02 | I expected more today but if you look at the rest of the market its mayhem with everything down....based on that this is doing pretty well to hold its own!! | aspers
04/3/2008 10:22 | if i did not rise in the first hour or so, can't see it going up later imo | mrminister
04/3/2008 09:38 | Great results i expect these to fly, not languish around 400p!!! Lets hope later we see a nice move north. | aspers |
