Nice publicity in Daily Express today...

'Fit for a princess: Cinderella's iconic glass slipper reinvented by top shoe designers'

The collection has been created to celebrate the upcoming live action Cinderella movie, starring Lily James, Cate Blanchett and Helena Bonham Carter.

It includes designs from Jimmy Choo, Nicholas Kirkwood, Rene Caovilla and Stuart Weitzman, who have each created their own interpretation of Cinderella's famous glass slipper.

That HSBC note..

"Since its all-time high reached on 8 December 2014 of 183p, the share price has declined by 11% while the company should deliver strong earnings growth in 2015-16 and we revised up our estimates in our 2 February luxury thematic report Globe-trotting shopper.

"The recent share price weakness puts the stock valuation at an attractive level, Jimmy Choo is now trading at a 7% discount versus global listed peers’ average which looks attractive given the 36% and 20% earnings per share growth we expect in 2015 and 2016 respectively (versus 18% and 13% sector average).

"We believe this provides a good entry-point for this fast growing company."

"Nordstrom Ottawa store almost ready to open"


“Shoes are at the root of our culture of our company,” says Nordstrom Spokesperson, John Bailey. “When you serve a customer in shoes you need to get down on one knee to put in on the customer’s foot, and we hope to extend that customer service to all of the departments in our store.”

Among the upscale services, there's an in-store shoe shine, on-site tailor shop and personal stylists.

Nordstrom will exclusively offer some designers brands in Ottawa including: Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Valentino, Pedro Garcia, and Alexander Wang.
The doors of the Nordstrom store will open on Friday, Mar. 6 at 9:30 a.m., with events starting outside, two hours earlier.

General market jitters imo

Morning hazl.

Short term it`s performing rubbish no doubt about it. All sells this morning , not a single buyer and the bid is now 161p ... we`ve lost 10% in nine days which is a little worrying.

Low volume , but it`s all pointing to a large seller in the background unloading a fair few.

Chartwise, supports gone and we may have to test 140p again. Worst share in my portfolio by a mile. Fingers crossed that buyers may see some value soon.
