Ohhhhhhhh I get so angry sometimes and especially when topped up with painkillers and hobbling on crutches. Some bb have such pedantic farts on them. Not aimed at anyone here.
We have power supply problems here today along with ADVFN problems probably resulting from problems here as wi fi is a bit patchy today and had problems with servers this end.

Encouraging results but I'm hobbling off to recuperate

I feel another pair of Choos are within reach after twisting my ankle yesterday and scuffing a new pair within 2 days of arrival, but what a quality outfit. When I went to the Mall and they replaced the Choos as I normally shop there, even though I didn't buy them there.

Equivalent of the Rolls Royce service.

I would imagine Christmas sales would have been strong.
Interesting pullout 'Chinawatch' from the Times on the 20th
has good and bad news about luxury spend.

'Despite the decline in the Chinese luxury market this year,Chinese consumers remain a major force supporting the overseas luxury goods producers.'

It seems Chinese consumers brought 47% of luxury products wwide in 2013 contributing about 102 billion dollars in sales according to a report by China Fortune Character .
However will keep reading up on this as there seems some move to 'seeking high-quality products at reasonable prices.'


I personally think that Jimmy Choo has a strong brand and as you have found with your many articles a very strong presence in the industry.

Accessories Abound in Milan

Jimmy Choo: Britain’s chilly grouse moors and the gentlemen who unwind by the hearth, whiskey in hand, after a day’s shooting, were the inspiration behind this countryside-meets-city collection from chief creative officer Sandra Choi. Boots, brogues, sneakers and loafers had finishes ranging from traditional tartans and checks to neon orange zipper details, while the treatments even extended to city-friendly backpacks.

Choi’s collection included slouchy and weathered biker boots in shades of Merlot or cognac, and others lined in shearling or with transparent rubber soles meant for hiking. Boxing style boots were done in a green leather Prince of Wales check, while suede desert ones were overlaid with a tartan pattern made from strips of rubber. Even sneakers and high-tops got a dash of Old World sophistication, with patent leather monk straps, houndstooth patterns, or prints made from pixelated oil paintings.

British luxury fashion designer Jimmy Choo is set to open it’s first men’s only store in Burlington Arcade, London.

The 300 sq ft store will open next week and covers two floors specialising in luxury shoes and accessories. The designer’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection includes formal styles such as lace-ups, monk straps, loafers, and side zip boots; as well as casual styles such as Chelsea and biker boots, slippers, and the brand’s trainers.

The store will try and portray a 1960′s Mayfair gentleman’s club and founder and chief creative officer Tamara Mellon said. “I want it to feel as though you are walking into a gentleman’s club, with all the luxurious appointments and comforts,”
