24/5/2018 08:23 | lol - why would you want me to direct you to a link saying it will be £3 by summer when I never stated that in the first place? You can't back up your assertions because there is no truth behind them. My argument is based on facts, yours is a groundless attempt at misdirection. With the repairs to be finished in 3 weeks the rig will be ready. Thereafter it's off to Norway, then Verbier is 2nd, then Pip 3rd, then Bigfoot 4th. The total drill programme for the 4 drills is 4-5 months. Assuming 4-6 weeks for each of the 4 drills and starting in July then the Verbier drill will likely be in August. | tromso1
24/5/2018 08:14 | This has been ramped tirelessly by mad stork and crowd for the last month on twitter. Now the company have confirmed the rig is under repair it is out of their hands as to whether it will be available on time!! | timw3
24/5/2018 08:14 | West Phoenix Two months repairs, after that they are drilling in Norway for 2-3 months. Looks like autumn for verbier. Share price says the same. | timw3
24/5/2018 08:13 | as you have chosen to repeat yourself throughout this debate. I will do the same maybe you should try some research before making out everyone has an agenda. These forums are for sharing info not blatant ramping in order for you to cash in at £3 by summer!! PSA (Noways Regulator) served their equivalent to an advisory / improvement notice to the rig owners (NADL) earlier this year. - basically they will have to make changes in some procedures, maintenance schedules, and some operational deficiencies that were highlighted during the visit.. Not everything has a link tromso... Can you direct me to a link that says this will be £3 by summer? | timw3
24/5/2018 08:04 | The rig, which is now more than 5 weeks through an 8 week repair program, should be ready for drilling mid-June according to this article: There is no other news in the public domain to suggest anything to the contrary. | tromso1
24/5/2018 07:56 | It's great news for shareholders, no placing or fundraising for at least a year! Tim, nothing has changed with regards the budgeting of capital expense? this is the same as previous guidance? "the company is budgeting for approximately gpb11 million of capital related to the 2018 work program" | snake
24/5/2018 07:52 | Oh and todays news is hardly earth shattering.. Using words lime budgeting, consulting and revising aren't exactly positive | timw3

23/5/2018 22:45 | Oh the famous timw3 lol, you still got money left to invest 😂 | robo175
23/5/2018 22:45 | Oh the famous timw3 lol | robo175
23/5/2018 20:47 | Ok, so I can assume that the 2-3 months is indeed just a figure plucked out of the air and not based on any factual documentation. Unless you can prove otherwise. Can you? What does it matter if the company has clarified that the rig is being repaired? The market has already known about this for 5 weeks. It is not anything new. "of course it's going to be there several months" - once again, show me where this is documented as fact. Otherwise your statement is just groundless speculation. Your argument might hold weight if you could back it up with facts, but you haven't done this so far. | tromso1
23/5/2018 20:27 | eerrr today was the day it was actually CLARIFIED by the company that the rig was being repaired!!! Secondly how long do you expect it do be in Norway? 24 hrs?... of course its going to be there several months. Listen get real i understand you want to ramp it up so you get your £3 exit price by summer but it looks like your game plan is going to FAIL! | timw3
23/5/2018 20:06 | The fact that the rig is under maintenance is already known and has been for weeks. It is nothing new. What is interesting is that you are bringing it up now, 5 whole weeks after it was first stated. More a reflection of your own agenda than anything else. The article was 5 weeks ago and states that the rig will be under maintenance for 2 months, so only 3 weeks more until it is free for drilling. So according to all that is currently known, the rig will be ready for drilling mid June. Any difference to that is pure speculation. "off to Norway for 2-3 months" - can you direct me to where this 2-3 months is actually documented? Or is this as I suspect just an arbitrary timescale plucked out of thin air in order to try to scare weak holders into selling to help your short position. | tromso1
23/5/2018 19:46 | so what if its a month old. The fact that the company have CONFIRMED the rig is under maintenance is significant to the recent ramping!! Article in April, 2 months repairs, then off to norway for 2-3 months, takes the drilling to commence october!! I have rarely seen timetables stuck to when a rig has been under maintenance | timw3
23/5/2018 17:17 | Interesting that you fail to address the fact that the article is well over a month old. And that subsequent to the publication of the article buying has consistently driven the price higher. | tromso1
23/5/2018 17:05 | "as far as they are aware" is not confirmation the rig will be available on time. keep ramping though as its clear this has been pumped tirelessly over the last month..!! | timw3
23/5/2018 16:56 | "They visited the rig themselves" "As far as they are concerned they are still on for summer appraisal well programme." --- Having visited the rig, JOG management will have actually spoken to those repairing the rig and have a much clearer idea of the timelines than someone on a BB with an agenda to try to talk the price down because they are short or have already sold and don't want anyone else to profit from the inevitable rise to come. The article is old news. More than a month has passed. If people were concerned they would have sold after it came out, not bought as they clearly have been doing ever since the article was printed. | tromso1
23/5/2018 16:46 | not if there is a delay it won't. This has been ramped tirelessly by mad stork and crowd for the last month on twitter. Now the company have confirmed the rig is under repair it is out of their hands as to whether it will be available on time!! | timw3
23/5/2018 16:32 | That article came out well over a month ago on 17th April so the news in it has been known by the market since then. It hasn't stopped the share price moving from around 180p on 17th April to a high of nearly 260p on 15th May. The current share price pullback is just natural profit taking from that rise. This is going very much higher in the weeks ahead. | tromso1
23/5/2018 16:20 | West Phoenix Two months repairs, after that they are drilling in Norway for 2-3 months. Looks like autumn for verbier. Share price says the same. | timw3
23/5/2018 16:09 | Still on for summer appraisal by the sounds of it... --- "#JOG Just spoken to Jersey Oil & Gas on the phone, they are aware of routine repairs on West Phoenix. They visited the rig themselves. See their twitter feed for pictures. As far as they are concerned they are still on for summer appraisal well programme. Shares currently down 6%" | cf456
23/5/2018 14:38 | "Great to see so many companies winning acreage in the UKCS #30thround, including 9 awards for #Verbier partners #Equinor. #NorthSea #JOG #OOTT" | cf456
18/5/2018 14:23 | Yes, this gem is sneaking back up! | trulyscrumptious
18/5/2018 11:51 | Looks like JOG share price might be about to re-commence it’s upward climb after having taken a little breather | wiltshireram |
