Why would the best executives from North Sea join JOG of they didn't believe opportunity is significant?

No doubt Shell withdrawing from Cambo is making many very nervious, although some wise individuals on the other board suspect Shell may be interested in GBA, Is it April 1st??

I always wondered why they didn't put a second hand fpso on the field. And Im still wondering why now. Probably delusions of grandeur from inexperienced management team. When you're a £25million market cap minnow, you cannot move forward on a project with a billion pound capital cost. Probably too late now due to the dreaded energy transition and Sturgeon's slimy shuffle over to so-called green policies.

What a good day for JOG. I wonder why?

I remain confident of a successful outcome. Just a matter of being patient.

Slide 18 would scare anyone. The downside case presented is just 20 million barrels to 90% watercut. The next low case is 40 million barrels to 90% watercut.

The new management will have focus on these cases and that is why:

"We remain actively engaged with multiple counterparties, with discussions focusing not only on our Preferred Development Concept but also around alternative concepts using existing third-party infrastructure"

imho to protect investors from the downside cases and tempt potential farminees. I expect they have something in mind already!!

Hell, this ship is truly holed and the Bosun and 1st Mate have abandoned ship leaving a bewildered Captain running in circles trying to pacify the Mutinous crew with 2 new NCO's. Wait here comes another massive wave....man the life-boats.
Sigma figured it out a while ago when Equinor jumped ship, now the slow release of information the Bosun (RL) who is a competent person, should have known or at least researched, can only lead to one conclusion.

Is the REPSOL information in the public domain as there is bound to be those who will question as am sure you know?

Thanks sigma

Reminds me of Bentley. No matter how good the technical/management team are it is all about the reservoir. The first question any potential farminee will ask why didn't REPSOL do it, drill new wells and apply water injection to the field ? Well they did, they drilled some infill wells and put some water injection in.

go figure

Buchan reminds me of Sealion. Something's gonna happen...then you wake up one morning and your investment has gone. Be very careful with this one.

The Fiddlers(Violinists) have left the Auditorium to be replaced by a couple of Trumpet players, The Conductor remains, which the erstwhile loyal fans cannot understand.
As many now realise the promised year for Shareholders has rapidly become an illusion, but who knows Miracles can happen.

Kakapo, I don’t accept the appointments are not short term and I don’t accept a takeover is remote.

A takeover could happen at any time! I’m happy to wait for it.

chessman your statement well illustrates the dilemma facing LTH's. Is it likely given the appoinments and now issue of medium term ( 7 years) options, 1st oil will be extracted in just over 2 years??
You accept the appointments are not short term.
Is it bizarre to issue options with no approved targets. Could only happen on AIM.

If as suggested, the Old team has run out of steam, why is there not a complete clear out right from the top? Fundamentally the company still has the same Mindset, which is not producing the promised plan ( F/O by end of year), there is still time.
As you state any possible take over appears remote, something many PI's have been suggesting.

The JOG saga will continue for sometime yet, which will suit the Traders.
