I don’t think I would join a company which was likely to be taken over during the next few months or so without some form of special remuneration.

Hopefully the new guys can push JOG over the line for a share price exceeding their options at 147p.

Good grief how right RedRossi, appoinments one day, 2 days later options granted and even though the strike price is set (147p), terms regarding performance to trigger exercise are yet to be determined by the REMUNERATIONS COMMITTEE.

Could only happen on Aim and to a company yet to make profits. When are Ordinary PI's going to learn the pot of Gold they are chasing is being systematically drained by greedy Execs.

Has RL volunteered his resignation or was he pushed? If the latter and he has his head screwed on is entitled to 12months notice .i.e £270K plus. The alternative is 30days notice and related serverance pay.

Exercised options a month ago, would it have been tiedier, considering the options do not expire for another week (29/11/21), to have completed resignations and options together??

"RL one of the founding members of JOG and the recognised Competent Person, gone."

As JT pointed out, Buchan is all above recovery factor and not rock volume. RF is the domain of the reservoir engineer and RL ain't a reservoir engineer. He will have a good knowledge of the subject but for a field like buchan with water (and gas?) slopping about requires a lot more than that. I hope RL takes the opportunity now to liquidate some value and sit back and watch Les et al do all the work. I envisage they will be trying to get some production and having conversations with Repsol re well abandonment program and whether some wells can be kept that can be tied back elsewhere.

Good progress imho

Changing of the Guard?? RL one of the founding members of JOG and the recognised Competent Person, gone.
Raises many questions, has sigma's question regarding CPR highlighted some shortcomings??

Board changes may be a distraction ( some may believe positive) against the anticipated F/O deal. Are the "interested" parties playing hard ball, something JOG appear to be behind the curve as confirmed by the Board changes.
Big questions remain regarding the viabilty, on commercial terms, for GBA.
As stated many weeks ago was the Old Board too ambitious???

"We remain actively engaged with multiple counterparties, with discussions focusing not only on our Preferred Development Concept but also around alternative concepts using existing third-party infrastructure"

Looks like the Buchan platform is dead.......

Discussions with JOG's neighbours about sharing the costs of a regional cable connection to shore are bound to take a long time. Can shares go to a minus value?
10 years is a flick of the fingers in the world of Oil & Gas. Never mind me and my PC - there's no chance of anything meaningful hitting my bank account while I'm still alive - JOG will be lucky to get anything meaningful going before Benitz is kicking up daisies - and he's only just out of his teens. Hardly anyone will remember the name Landsdell (he's the same age as me ffs) although he should have quite a comfortable retirement by virtue of the not ungenerous package awarded him by the always eager to please Frank Moxon(in return for a thousand a week plus options). However, sailing a yacht using a zimmer frame will be no pushover. Only a couple more cuts to get to a thousand here. Silence is a great way to address the situation. 10/10. I'm done - rubbish JOG among yourselves; you really don't need to bother though - they're achieving a lot more on their own than you'll ever manage.

Highlyunlikely any announcement this side of Christmas to update guidance already in the public domain that a Farm Out is expected in the 4th quarter of this year to say this has been pushed back into 2022 the market will lose patience and throw its toys out the pram.Expect the shares to get heavily marked down probably to a cash at the bank valuation only for this to be temporary should a fo be announced next year.Probably best off saying nothing at all to avoid this happening if this is the case.Of course the Jackpot might land in the next 3 weeks then its Christmas party's all round.

I'm sure JoG monitor all the BBs and will address as best they can all reasonable issues shareholders have at the appropriate time in the appropriate format. There is oil left down, enough to make money, good money if the correct (not necessarily the best) development option is taken. In my mind the installation of a shiny new platform is just too gungho, a more phased approach, drill the crest (prove no gas cap) and put an injector in the aquifer and start from there.

Never mind baked beans. We were asked if we'd have a recently arrived asylum seeker from France for Christmas dinner this year. I said "thanks all the same, but we'll stick to roast turkey as usual".

Vamp/catswhiskas/rbonnier - what's the logic in JOG's share price falling to "cash in the bank" level if there's news of the GBA project stretching out to the twelfth of never? Shareholders won't see any of the cash if the oil is set to stay in the ground - it'll be used to pay directors and employees util it runs out. So the downside is 0p as far as I'm concerned. That's unless some idiotic oilco falls for JOG's/Rockflow's/Schumberger's spiel and decides there might be some oil in there with all the water and fart-propellant

If you are correct when will the company rns this ,when there's no farm out by the year end and they announce back to the drawing board in 2022 ?
Share Price will sink to cash at the bank valuation of 45Pish and shareholders having beans on toast for their Christmas Dinner!🥺

Am I right in thinking you and JTS have dismissed as rubbish everything that's included in JOG's January 2021 presentation? You two must be incredibly clever, given you haven't had access to any of the data JOG, Rockflow and Schlumbger used in their very detailed assessment/s of the situation relating to Buchan and the GBA: hxxps://wp-jerseyoilandgas-2020.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/media/2021/01/26063823/Updated-Buchan-subsurface-evaluation.pdf

Others can draw their own conclusions.......
