You may as well know, highlyunlikely, in case you do not know already, that kakapo1 is the same person as vampirekitten, ranger4, rbonnier, and TheShen.

JTS has merely been warning you that he did not think Buchan could be resurrected. He said similar about Barryroe in Ireland (Providence) and I knew that to be on the button having discussed that with someone who looked at it decades ago for a US oiler....horrible geology. Geology at Buchan..... read the history and work out if you want to throw capital at it. The level of capital might swing your decision but for me the JOG plan was too much capital.

A solid poster lost if he leaves.

I'm no bully, kakapoo - you make a lot of noise for someone who knows so little and I was simply pointing out to you that, in life, it's best not to shout as loudly as you do, when someone else in the room has a megaphone. Had you told us earlier you're an Antipodean export I'd have treated you a lot more kindly. I know how sensitive people are from that part of the world. I'm reasonably knowledgeable on most things financial and legal (options fall into this category). I'm always happy to answer anyone's questions (if I can). But I do get a bit fed up with people bashing JOG and its directors based on statements that are wrong. The options were no big deal. The most interesting bit was that JOG brokered a deal that provided the means for someone to buy 3% of JOG's shares. As we haven't had a form TR1 notification, one assumes there was more than one buyer. One also assumes you think they'll lose the lot. Life would be boring if we all thought the same way. My eyes are about the only bit of me that works btw; you could have picked almost anything else ..........

I post the following on the other board at 15.08hrs today:
"A thought occurred to me that many people appear to be convinced JTSouthern and Siggy on the other board are experts in the field of oil exploration and production and it has to be said the language they use and their familiarity with the subject supports the view they do indeed have a background in the industry and their views on how difficult it is going to be for JOG to find a farm-out partner should at least be considered. I'm lost on the technical detail as, I guess, are most others. I spoke with JOG about the subject recently and the comment I got was along the lines: "everyone is entitled to their own opinion. As we've made progress, we've set everything out as clearly as we can, made it clear what work has been done and by whom and the conclusions that have been reached. If someone has a different view and wants to discuss this with us we'll be happy to talk with them". I don't know if JTS or Siggy reads this board but someone (vampire/RBonnier/catswhiskas?) might suggest to one or both they pick up the phone to JOG (details on the website) and see if common ground can be reached. If JTS is actually trying to help, then why would he not do this and let us know what transpires?"............

...........and at 16.28hrs JTS posts the following:

"I just emailed advfn to have my account deleted.......This forum is not a good use of my time...........the amount of times I've been accused of disagreeing with Rockflow numbers which is simply not true in any post".......

Interesting timing.......guess we'll never get to find out (from JTS at least) where and why the discrepancies arise, which is a pity. Fwiw JTS, I don't doubt you held a responsible position within the industry at one time. You might still do faik. I don't have my head in the sand here and do have concerns about how things might all pan out. Nothing can be taken for granted in the world of O&G, least of all in juniors listed on AIM. What I don't get is why you have NEVER had anything positive to say about JOG. You have never even hinted (as far as I can recall) at the possibility that JOG's interpretation of Buchan might lead to success, however this is measured. Hope you enjoy your retirement from this forum and manage to find more meaningful ways to spend your time.

Maybe Siggy might be willing to pick up the phone and see if any further light might be thrown on why there is such a big divide on the volume and recoverability of oil in Buchan? What say you Siggy?

CM you and I have always had disagrements and probably always will. You have admitted to being a trader therefore the roller coaster this stock enjoys should be milk and honey to you. The fact is as a Trader you will be long gone when the proverbial hits the fan here. Just try and think of the many loyal LTH's who have stuck with JOG for some years, they are the ones who will lose out and not you. As far as motive to be here, and I can only speak for myself, it is to guide and open eyes. Ultimately decisions to Buy or Sell rest with the individual.
You have not identified what you consider nonsense and therefore one concludes you don't have the faintest idea, not many Traders do for obvious reasons. They don't care who sinks so long as they swim. Rubbishing informed posts may suit the agenda, but it also obscures what may or not be going on, something any serious investor will research and form their own conclusions. There is always risk especially with company's not making profits.

That's my last word on the matter. I wish you luck not that you need it by the sounds of it.

I was laughing my sock off until my name was mentioned, then realised REAL LONGWAIT is serious. Hell is that what this share does to a person's mental stabilty. AB and RL have a lot to answer.

RL when are you due to see the doctor? Don't delay before you start seeing mice with horse heads crawling up the walls. Are you sure you have not metamorphed ( oh sorry is that another pejorative word). For that matter HU has used muppets,so is that poster a man or a woman and or indeed a reincarnate of Ghengis Khan.
Am sure JTS is who he states as for me, well an Antipodean export.

Heck these boards get barmier and barmier.

A pity jtsouthern146 you added a lot of value to the thread and your posts were appreciated. I can set up a moderated thread to moderate poor behaviour as it would be a loss to see you go because of the actions if others .

If it helps I just emailed advfn to have my account deleted.

This forum is not a good use of my time as someone just pointed out..

The behavior on here is poor. Continual drive to shut things down and mis-representation of other views (the amount of times I've been accused of disagreeing with Rockflow numbers which is simply not true in any post).

Goodbye for good and I'm sure for some of you it'll be good riddance I'm sure.

let the echo chamber continue!

Good question I’ve been asking myself same. Guess I happen to know various things about buchan from early career as do many who’ve worked it over the years so somehow feel wedded to it but yes nothing really gained from pointing out things nobody understands anyway I take your point there.

I know with cop26 E&Ps keeping quiet (look at the mess cambo is in) so I imagine there’ll be no announcements this side of Christmas if they have any sense so this forum will go quite anyway beyond this latest flurry!

Yes...

Or alternatively there are serious concerns for very good reason and those who don't understand them would of course dismiss them as coming from loonies and lemons. If the stock was sound you probably wouldn't have this issue as everyone would be aligned, the share price would be through the Velux window and a farm out/buy out would have happened a long time ago.

Life is funny, everyones' opinion is set early and then all thinking is moulded to fit it. Makes the world interesting I suppose if everyone agreed it'd be boring and there'd be no opportunities!

Whats' funny is that HU is convinced it's everyone else suffering the Dunning-Kruger effect lol!

Good luck to you all I say nothings personal.

And FYI I am not one of these other posters as some are convinced ..but again it moulds to your theory that JOG is sound.. if you decide everyone against it is the same person. Means in your head there's a smaller number of people against it so it gives you reason to keep hope. You could use these forums as a worked example in a psychology class honestly!

"You're way out of your depth jousting with me, Kakapoo. I've forgotten more about the subjects you're struggling so badly with than you'll ever know as long as you live"

Oh really, such arrogance from a poster who has sight problems and does not have the guts to admit an error. Read my posts very carefully.
Showing respect costs nothing. Constantly rubbishing anyone who puts forward points you do not agree only serves to show what a Bully you are. There is only one way to treat a bully- fight fire with fire!

Longwait, or is it Highlyunlikely, Chessman or some other entity yet to be discovered, consider this nugget. It is agreed the company is in a period of intense and confidential negotiations, options are due to expire on 30th November.
Did the board consider the potential reaction to undertake an exercise which is market sensitive.

Against this background why has the BOD not considered EXTENDING the expiry date of Options? A simple solution which would have avoided all this nonsense.

ok highlyunlikely let's just calm the issue down please I fully understand jog is under pressure and folks have put substantial amounts of their savings in here but can we please keep this debate at least friendly so we can help each other in what is becoming a very difficult stock to hold.
I'm very annoyed at being accused of being jtsouthern146 I can assure you I'm not, however I am catswhiskas already well known on advfn and vampirekitten on lse and no other else it would be appreciated if you could state that on lse as longwait has a history of trying to discredit posters whos posts do not fit with his current positions check advfn and search on the real longwait.
Imo the jury's out on this one and my instinct is its going to fail let's hope for those that are seriously invested here im wrong .ATB HL

You're way out of your depth jousting with me, Kakapoo. I've forgotten more about the subjects you're struggling so badly with than you'll ever know as long as you live - and then some. Don't go there. I've been reasonably polite to you so far but am now started to losing patience. You lack even a basic knowledge and understanding of simple to understand issues that any semi-intelligent stock market punter would pick up in a jiffy. Give up before you make yourself look even more daft. I've just explained things all over again to your mate/alter ego, RBonnier. Hopefully he'll get it this time around. Why not ask him, or someone you know who's got half a brain, to help you. Maybe the penny will drop. Anything's possible.
