alottoI've not seen a site that gives such a PE. As you say easy enough to work it out and it's definitely not 30.Be good if Sagar could post up where he / she got that from, but my gut is saying that won't happen!.

Why do people take figures such as the PE or 30 from random places? it is so easy to calculate from the financial statements smh

Any time JD sport PE ratio will be brought sub 10 ..by crushing share price..hence a big big big danger to hold it for long..as market correction can happen anytime..markets trading at very top end...

These markets trading too high to crush anytime...they have eaten up retail shorters big time since November 2023...now at any point they will start eating longs up...hence it is difficult and scary to hold any company with a PE ratio of 30.vultures are encircling JD with their shorts..big vultures...they can make it another debenham or Vodafone case any time..if a company doesnt have their own products attractive to
customers...selling other companies product at premium rate in rented shops..not a very great business

Just an observation on a shopping trip for some new trainers, the JD Sports shop was very busy, good displays, well lit, nice atmosphere. I also went into Footlocker, Footasylum, Schuh, all stores empty, dull, poor displays. This is only one moment in time, but on this trip JD seems to be the go to shop at least.
