he has now went long. |
Desperate? This has been a good short for me sonny boy |
Why are you so desperate? |
Well, congrats are in order for those who were not panicked to sellAm sure there are many who threw in the towel.Certainly pointing to more than a dead cat bounce |
At the same time, being long UK stocks overall is proving to be quite profitable with the FTSE up 4% ytd versus a 4% decline in the DOW and bigger declines in S&P / Nasdaq ... |
Bounce up shortly and the drop will continue |
Shorting UK stocks is so incredibly profitable now. Sad but needs must |
GDP figures not good - FTSE will soon be in the 7s again60s a certainty today sadly. |
It's can only the be the consumer confidence out look is bleak. Higher rates still and lots of mortgages coming out of low fixed rates. Consumer is being heavily squeezed imo. I'm watching on the side lines here but price looks attractive however certainly in a downward trend |
Agree, its a hugely profitable companyThat is why the share price action is so bizarre. But its often more profitable to follow the marketIf listed in the US this would have an 8b mkt cap |
Scep... you have certainly been proved right in terms of the price, but it still makes no sense when the company has guided £900m profit and a tumbling market cap. As ever timing is everything and many will make a killing on the way up. Just annoying that we need this constant drip in the first instance. |
So 13 percent drop on no news. Can you imagine what will happen if there is even a slight miss on the TU |
Yet another poor sod no doubt nursing extensive paper losses. Remember sonny, its only a loss if you sell |
Go fist yourself. |
Fish in a barrel |
Dibs on the 60s today? |
Skeppy has been mugged off again
😂😂128514; |
Support at 71.5 crushedNext level at what, 68? |
11% drop in 3 days. . . |
It will turn sooner or later and the rise should be dramatic, a company valued at 3.5bn with profits of £800m+ |
Essy, yes ok. I’m hoping we’re near bottom.
I do hold some, but Peter Cowgill leaving has coincided with slower growth, so I have not added more shares. |
Looking like a bloodbathAnyone seriously still invested here? |
yma, I mentioned highly acquisitive growth often disappoints, not that JD would..crash or become loss making.
In any case you could counter the above with..the share price has already fallen well over 60% from the COVID induced high, disappointment has already happened in share price terms. Luck with your holding. |
Yma, all the metrics point to this being oversold, it doesn’t mean it will go up though.
Sentiment is thru the floor, if this is being shorted then it could go down further, however once they close the stampede will start and some will get burnt.
If you hold then do you sell?, I’d be inclined not to at current levels, this company should be trading well above £1 , but it doesn’t mean it will. |
