I see that the Head of Business Development has jettisoned with the Creative Director to launch McCann Leeds.

Hmm, apparently Lord Ashcroft (largest jaywing shareholder) hates David Cameron, whilst Martin Sorrel likes him... So if there was to be a deal, it would need be be hostile.

With Brexit outcome unknown nobody will want to fully commit on updates...better to under promise and over deliver than the other way round...

Agreed, and probably deliberately so. The worry is that they don't turn a "proper" profit with all that revenue, recurring or otherwise...

What they have done by giving such an opaque update is to make readers of it form their own opinions as to what the update means.

Thus they have shot themselves in the foot as worst case scenarios generally some to the fore in such missives.

Profit warnings as this update is ... come in 3's ... this seems to happen nearly every time I follow such events in a company I am watching.

Hence if the company wants to minimise damage to it's share price , then clarity is the way to do so.

It's a tad opaque admittedly, but presumably if they have a terrible year, and don't sell anything new to anyone, the worse that can happen is a 50% drop. Not great, but the share price has been hammered over the last few years. At least they haven't used any childish exclamation marks this time...

It also doesn't say 50% down, it says 50% of the sales volume is recurring...

A certain poster that has been very vocal about this company and a few other shares that have ALL performed very badly indeedy

Has lost all credibility with buywell inc

Can anyone guess who that poster is ?

Needless to say buywell inc never bought in any of them as he saw the scam miles off

Agreed, but they are paying down debt, so there is actual cash floating around, not "booked revenue" and mysterious sales pipelines that never convert...

No, not in particular, but I think the strategy they are offering resonates across the market, and expect jaywing to do ok with the same approach. If there were a takeout, that would be a bonus though, obviously. Does Sorrel need australian coverage?

zcaprd7, you see SFOR taking these out in the short term?

I've had a little speculative nibble, hopefully the results will signify a turnaround... They are right in Sorrels sweet spot.
