Year on year Jaywing PLC had net income fall from a gain of 705.00k to a loss of 2.98m despite a 23.81% increase in revenues from 35.97m to 44.54m.
An increase in the cost of goods sold as a percentage of sales from 11.62% to 19.22% was a component in the falling net income despite rising revenues.

21/11/2017 09:22 | We are in an abnormal business period. Old cycles may not repeat. | p1nkfish
21/11/2017 09:22 | UK dependency is major problem given future uncertainties etc of the current eu changes. Relying on Q4 just because that is where historic 33% of profit has come from, clutching at straws.
The future q4 may bare little resemblance to previous q4's given changes we will be going through. | p1nkfish
21/11/2017 09:19 | At least no exclamation marks but debt trajectory must change. They suggest it will but still want to expand so it's either more issuance or more debt.
Keeping hands in pockets for 18-24 months to show some stability and profit growth would be better for all.
Annoying they didn't offer any more timely trading update. April 17 update was largely pat on the back for full year to 31/3/17.
Not good shareholder communication, not good. Especially for a marketing company. | p1nkfish
21/11/2017 08:13 | Straight to the point - where was a proper trading update knowing the business was weakening post election? | p1nkfish
17/11/2017 23:52 | They've had enough sense to bring the website to "on message".
Other than that it's slowly grinding lower on lack of anything positive to show. | p1nkfish
28/10/2017 09:02 | Lombard Odier as major shareholder would do well to check-in on this boys club. A little cosy. | p1nkfish
17/9/2017 12:32 | It is time they pulled their finger out and had some positive newsworthy developments.
Build it is done, start to generate a shareholder return is next and prove they can drive a business.
Not yet convinced and hope some major shareholders are prepared to agitate or get management changed. | p1nkfish
02/9/2017 17:24 | bw3, they have been through a build it stage. Expect an uplift soon if they don't drop the ball. | p1nkfish

02/9/2017 13:27 | He should have chosen better! | p1nkfish
31/8/2017 14:11 | So - he's bought his mates company that is < 2 yrs old, although in profit, and where's the details of the money changing hands?
Lovey-dovey or what?
Any tell me how much was spent on this acquisition and what the profit potential bought is? | p1nkfish
21/8/2017 07:59 | Becoming a buy again in my book but have enough in the money not to need to add. Good luck all. | p1nkfish
10/8/2017 11:07 | Well, yes, but they work for banks, and they do marketing, so should be able to report accordingly... | zcaprd7
06/8/2017 15:16 | Good idea if they started marketing themselves a little better to investors as they've been quite poor at it so far imho.

06/8/2017 14:40 | zpcard, I see what you mean. I hadn't noticed.
Perhaps it's cut and paste from a piece of internal BS or he just can't help himself.
Would not expect it in CEO's report, used twice.
However, still think it should be rated more highly. | p1nkfish
06/8/2017 13:31 | Marketing people can't help themselves! | p1nkfish
06/8/2017 08:28 | I thought their results looked childish and a bit patronising, I mean who uses exclamation marks when reporting company results? | zcaprd7
05/8/2017 10:11 | I don't yet understand a good reason to sell this as IFRS9 is a growth area.
More likely a reason to buy.

05/7/2017 17:23 | Progressive dividend policy in the offing. So far I've called prices moves. Yes, mixed bag. | p1nkfish
05/7/2017 15:31 | They should have gone for fusionex... | zcaprd7
05/7/2017 13:39 | Bit of a mixed bag really but nothing there to justify the current market cap let alone price increase. | the big fella
