Another top-up for me, as I said before if its good enough for Andrew Grant its good enough for me. ADVFN Financials for Jim gives historic yield of 7.8%. I can't find a better picks and shovels company. Seems to ride out the economy well.
Interest rates go up, income goes up, dividend goes up; interest rates go down, divi yield is more attractive and shares go up. Getting in early at this level seems a great way of hedging your bets as a long term investment. Fraction of EPS paid out as divi for the last 4 yrs = .68, .66, .75, 1.08 . Steady as she goes Captain.

Another 25,000 shares repurchased @335.5p last Thursday. That means they have bought back 127,500 shares at an average price of 363.2p over the past 6 months at a cost of £463,000.

I bought mine on 20 day settlement to give me time to move cash around, I notice like a lot of others. This also means the shares aren't delivered for 20 days, however, so the dreaded MM's have time to duck and dive and hatch their dastardly plans. The LSE site imho gives a better view of share trades and things are never what they seem when you look at trades for a thinly traded share. Lot of big trades get cancelled and on lse you can see what's going on with late trades etc. They always want to hide the direction of trade. Level 2 would be nice but I don't trade often enough.

Forced to become a customer as Barclays have off-loaded investment clubs.

-----------------------

I am not sure if Jarvis allow investment clubs ! but if so, we could pick up some extra business.

I wonder why Barclays have stopped them ! unless its part of thier re-structuring !.

Good to have you back, John.well done for selling high ! And buying back low.

Good to see Jarvis continue the low cost a4 and a staple rather than a expensive glossy magazine to present the results to share holder. Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves.

Regards.

That's my 500 buy @334, I've been rebuilding a stake after selling some. I don't know why the price is being kept low but I'm hoping a bigger buy is being worked and they need some sells. If it's good enough for Andrew Grant, it's good enough for me.

Some, if not all, to be recycled as DRIP shares no doubt I imagine.

With the RNS that was literally issued just a few minutes ago, the figures quoted in post #1200 above can now be updated to 102,500 shares at an average price of 370p. This clearly suggests that they see value at this price level!

More likely to be a cross or something similar of two matching blocks of 90,000 rather than a sale of 180K IMHO!

Hi ten - possibly fewer trades going through and virtually zero interest rates won't help, so lets hope for good results from the commercial side.
