Terribly quiet. I'm wondering whether the best is over and I should sell.

Some news would be nice.

Its already started its recovery.

Over a 3-4 year view this can double.

Fully agree. Though I was suprised with size of the drop. Will probably recover in the next couple of days/weeks.

Nothing to worry about.

2006 will see it trade much higher. All the fundamentals are in place.

Bit of a drop as it goes Ex-Dividend.

I can't believe this share still trades at less than NAV.

Nice 7p per share special dividend on top of the 1.6 p per share giving a 8.6 p total. Not bad especially as its rather unexpected following an already large special dividend was paid in the not so distant past.Good set of results too and despite worries on consumer spending, they reckon full year broker forecasts will be met.Note worthy strong trading at Neville Long.Situation all in all looks pretty good at Lathams.Bearing in mind this substantial special divi was unexpected and board are comfortable that full year figures will be in line with market expectations, its surprising as to date, shares have not risen with these interims.

They are always very guarded.

But if they say first hald was above expectation then expect very good results and good DIVI.

We will see £ 2.00 in the next 12 months.

Think we shall see a positive result when they announce. i have every confidence. But timing is the key whenever u buy.

I agree with HVS.Though this stock with its wide spreads is more of a long term hold than a trading proposition.Good news is that the share split has lead to vastly increased volumes, so at least charts give a far clearer and more valid indication of where support and resistance lies. Thus aiding the timing of buying.

I do not wish u to make a loss.

Latham(James) PLC - AGM Statement
RNS Number:0048QLatham(James) PLC11 August 2005James Latham plcStatement to the 2005 AGMOn 24 June 2005, when the preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2005were announced, a statement was made with regard to the first two months of thecurrent financial year.At that time, we reported that it was difficult to predict the outcome for theyear at such an early stage but sales for April and May were comfortably aheadof the same months last year although competition was intensifying. Somecustomers were uneasy that declining consumer spending could adversely affecttheir business and it was unlikely that our margins would be enhanced by priceincreases. That still holds true.We can further report that in June sales were slightly ahead of, and in Julysimilar to, the same months last year.James Latham plc's interim results will be announced at the end of Novemberwhich will give an accurate picture of profit for the six months to the end ofSeptember. For further information and forecast please contact our corporate broker RowanDartington at barrie.newton@rowan-dartington.co.uk.At the Company's AGM held today, all Ordinary and Special Resolutions werepassed.Barrie NewtonManaging DirectorRowan DartingtonTel: 0117 933 001111.08.05 This information is provided by RNS The company news service from the London Stock ExchangeEND

somtam,

Thank you for the post. Its sector malaise rather than a specific company issue.

Trevor Perkins on the other hand is a complete separate matter. A big bout of indegestion.
