09/9/2020 17:34 | STV is now back to its Mid APRIL price. For ITV to match that we need to be trading in the 70s - see chart below: | netcurtains

09/9/2020 16:27 | OK looking at the picture its quite possible some short term traders sold and put some cash into BT which has created a buying opportunity here at ITV... At least that is my take on it. | netcurtains
09/9/2020 16:13 | Stan. I got a few BAKK as well. Historically profitable, but hey :) | hamhamham1

09/9/2020 16:02 | Deutsche Telecom must have paid 5bn for their 12% share in BT. Must be frustrating for them to see that twice that amount would buy the company outright currently. BT is bigger than it was back in 2009 recession, add EE to it, makes it's huge in varied assets | hamhamham1
09/9/2020 15:52 | hamalready in btwatching vlx, no position, huge director buy recently | stansmith3
09/9/2020 15:30 | Stan. Go BT, Go! :) | hamhamham1

"By jove fred bloggs buys 72 of them" | netcurtains

09/9/2020 14:18 | Hopefully BT takeover talk will become infectious :) | hamhamham1
09/9/2020 13:27 | BT up on takeover talk. Would be nice to see a bid, but UK gov would rebuff it as it's part of the country's national security infrastructure. | hamhamham1
09/9/2020 13:13 | Net. Talk here doesn't push the share price up, but it may affect individuals' morales :) I am long here, and luckily in profit currently. | hamhamham1
09/9/2020 13:03 | Good to see higher lowsWould have been bearish for this to pass through to 61 again | scepticalinvestor

09/9/2020 12:24 | stansmith..Good synopsis, couldn't have put it better. I did well with ITV back in 09 when they dropped below 20p. Among the mayhem much like now, I built up a decent holding while trading them at the same time. I traded te share and eventually sold my ITV holdings for 220p five years later when I needed funds for a property deal. I have built up a reasonable holding recently because I rate the stock as being super cheap. The fundamentals are good, it is a household name, it own a substantial amount of studios and it has Britbox, what's not to like! ITV were doing well up to this pandemic, but because there were other downers in it's way such as Brexit, the streamer hype and the launch of Britbox, the share price has suffered badly, way over the top imo. It will get better, I think that ITV will soon return to health and start moving up, with a bit of positive news it wouldn't surprise me to see a 20% rise and on to 100p by next year. It is good they have embraced smaller company advertising while the big boys pulled ads, this is good and it could give ITV a surge in advertising from smaller companies into the Xmas period and the summer holiday season. I have faith in Carolyn McCall, hope you lot have as well! | jimbull
09/9/2020 12:09 | But ITV have fallen more than the banks (percentage wise since Jan 1st), and ITV was 57p last week. Both to me look like they are bumbling along their lows, within 10%. | hamhamham1
09/9/2020 12:04 | well the banks are still fallingi didnt suggest putting all your eggs in one basket | stansmith3 |
