Hydrogen vehicles receive huge £100million boost amid plans to develop UK-wide refuelling network |
UK's larhest groundworks and piling company VANL, announces £M30 8 year contract for electricity distribution towers around Scotland. Good for electrolysers at charging stations. |
No other theory fits |
@grahamwales you said "Revenue is also paid for factory space as well from companies that require it." and now say reservation orders. What revenue can we expect from these "reservation orders/factory space" because i cannot find anything that substantiates this.
I am positive and hope that the update really solidifies the position and removes all theories that all of us outsiders have. They may have been clear on Neptune pricing but everything else is guesswork. |
Reservation orders which they have a few |
Without looking I have the same recollection as you, that revenue is paid on milestones throughout the contract and in full on final testing, installation and acceptance by the customer. In regards to revenue being paid for "factory space" I have seen "capacity reservations" but never with any financial commitments attached? Can anyone please elaborate with company statements they might have to hand?
@grahamwales that specifically refers to components and materials and not "factory space" |
Revenue is paid throughout the contract unless you can prove otherwise. Revenue is also paid for factory space as well from companies that require it. |
Apologies 100mw for shell and 100mw for RWE. I’m sure there was a third 100mw order but need to find it |
@gramhamwales Refhyne 2 is 100mw see link above. Is it not Hygen that is 200mw but unannounced by ITM?
Revenue is not paid in full until final commissioning and acceptance by the client? But we may see some before? |
200mw Refhyne 2. Installation already taking place as per previous posts. Re revenue is paid throughout supply of electrolysers |
Well I assume we mean Refyhne 2! But that is only 100mw and not due to start production of hydrogen on site until 2027 hxxps://www.refhyne.eu/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/REFHYNE-II_news_release_25July2024_Final_Edit_.pdf
Ultimately this means revenue not due until after then.
Do we really believe it takes 2 years to commission our plant?
Or on a positive note is there something else in goods out? Like Hygen?
We should be mindful that the Shell order only represents about a month of the factories suggested annual capacity (1GW)or 30% when combined with Hygen and on that basis about Q1 capacity ! |
Could well be, I'd say they didn't have much spare capacity out there. (New factory) |
Wondering on share price Trump effect ... sector was well down stateside. Might get some weakness to buy into |
Ready to be shipped for Refhyne I guess |
Went past hq goods out yard yesterday and its absolutely chokka. Never seen it as full. That's finished product ready to go, so all these fids and recent approvals won't be held up on itm's part. |
The good news :
[...]
The other news : Did Schulz keep Andy to avoid leakages of the technology? |
Nice find Graham. Very positive |
I see another electrolyser manufacturer hitting hard times. Dennis has done well to get the orders in place bearing in mind how slow FID’s have been. Picked up more than their fair share compared to the competition. |
So that's partly shipped Graham? And chargeable? Financial update wise ? |
Think the results will be very enlightening |

GET H2 is our 300 MW electrolyzer project, we are currently erecting in #Lingen. 2/3 of the capacity we are doing together with ITM Power - PEM electrolyzer technology and Linde as contract partner.
Around five months after taking FID on the total project, it was a good moment together with my board colleage Dr. Sopna Sury to look how far ITM is with the production of the electolyzers in their facilities in #Sheffield, UK.
But before getting in touch with our stacks, which are almost ready to ship for Line 1 to our site in Germany, i had to undertake a laborartory electrolyser build up and commissioning competition ..
ITM is testing their membranes in this laboratory: its durability and development latter! A pre qualification session for me you may say 😉, a development and testing step on European electrolyzer technology for ITM.
Its a good signal that the technology is developed in the UK, in Europe and gets alive with RWE in Lingen. First time already 2024 in our 5 MW pilot section and the next 100 MW going online 2025.
👉In a nutshell: we are on time underway. The Linde, ITM and RWE team, all the colleagues in the project are fully energized and with fun and professionalism working on the project to deliver a big success! |
Any thoughts of hydrogen shares reaction to the inauguration... at least won't be talking policy. . Unless he has musk on stage with a tshirt saying 'I hate hydrogen' |
