Good news and confirmation that the kit is to be used in the US as well as Europe.

What’s more important is that companies are now realising that there aren’t many credible electrolyser manufacturers around.

Something Dennis is always banging on about.

If that was worded we have sold 500mw capacity would be a world of difference

Would think there is some sort of fee but I guess if they reserve electrolysers they want them

ITM is pleased to announce that it has signed a 500MW capacity reservation with a global industrial customer.ITM is pleased to announce that it has signed a 500MW capacity reservation with a global industrial customer. This reservation secures future production capacity for the manufacturing of our state-of-the-art electrolyser stacks. The agreement covers the period until the end of the 2028 calendar year and foresees call-offs against future projects in Europe and the US.The two companies have agreed not to disclose further contract details at this stage.Dennis Schulz, CEO ITM, said: "Today's announcement is a great example of how close collaboration will unlock competitive and successful green hydrogen projects. Following the already announced capacity reservation for 100MW from Shell, this agreement with yet another large-scale industrial customer is a validation of our technology and credibility to deliver."

If there's a reservation fee involved then it's fantastic

Today I was invited to the UK Parliament at Westminster to meet Ed Miliband, Shadow Secretary of State for Climate Change and Net Zero. We had an exciting discussion about how hydrogen will become an important contributor to the national economy, how to best position the UK in the evolving international hydrogen ecosystem, and in particular which role ITM Power can play in making the UK’s ambitions a reality.

HGV'S and Busses yes way to early for cars as needs to have good refuelling infrastructure where as hydrogen at services and large company premises would be quicker to achieve.

Majority of the HGV's manufacturers are already looking at hydrogen trucks.

SK re Labour and H2O (your link in 32275)- I guess one practical way would be to support move to H2O for cars and lorries perhaps as a California approach?
