10/8/2016 15:05 | Could be waiting for the right tide conditions too , strong currents between Malmo and Copenhagen and changes between high and low ebb. Same with SSCV Thialf, seem them hold off until weather conditions and tides are right.. | fruitninja84
10/8/2016 13:37 | Most of North Sea looks ok, but there was still a gale warning this morning north of Denmark, in Fisher area which rig must pass through obviously. But forecast to peter out later. "Fisher Gale warning - Issued: 0322 UTC on Wednesday 10 August 2016 Northwesterly gale force 8 continuing Wind Northwest 5 to 7, occasionally gale 8 at first, decreasing 4 or 5 later. Sea state Moderate or rough, occasionally very rough at first." | whiskeyinthejar
10/8/2016 13:34 | going blue...I suspect another strong finish knocking on 70's door....asking it to come out to play! | georgie pie
10/8/2016 13:17 | still circling, surely that storm must be over soon | bountyhunter
09/8/2016 18:42 | FPF-1 heading west again (click on 'past track') | bountyhunter
09/8/2016 17:22 | That is what i call a happy ending :-) | sawadee3
09/8/2016 14:15 | the market must of read my post.. ;-0 | georgie pie
09/8/2016 13:29 | Just seen that OPEC have called a meeting for few weeks time instead of the planned Nov meeting. Are the Saudis struggling so much they will try once again and push for a production cut to lift the price to the desired $65??? Looks like they are hurting, but its a tall order to get the other members to fall into line...you never know though something might get agreed to push this back to mid 50's...perfect timing for IAE I would say. | georgie pie
09/8/2016 10:58 | maybe easier to travel with the currents/tides than hold in one place while waiting for NS stormy weather to pass? they've already been around in one circle since yesterday | bountyhunter
09/8/2016 10:49 | mmmm ...FPF-1 appears to be heading east again. Could they be lost? Shall I e mail them a map? | lfdkmp
09/8/2016 10:23 | I am a holder, but I do worry about this Malcy chap. The equity value he refers to is only one part of a proper company valuation. | binarypilot
09/8/2016 10:15 | Bets on for who will hit £1 first, my IAE or PMO :-) Happy days chaps :-) | sawadee3
08/8/2016 21:59 | ...there's also a similar map in the header from the Ithaca website (Fram is top left). | bountyhunter
08/8/2016 21:07 | glitter2 8 Aug'16 - 06:59 - 18931 of 18945 0 0 Sorry to labour the point but I wasn't wanting inside info, I was wanting to know if you (or anyone who knows the Stella area) could say that the recent deals were all there was likely to be, or whether there was lots more potential for development of previously isolated fields or for aging fields which were barely economic but could be revived with Stella's access to the pipeline Stands to reason that there could be deals in the future to unlock otherwise stranded noncommercial finds that have no hope of flying on their own but could well make use of Stella as a new infrastructure hub. I'm only just getting up to speed with the area myself, but this diagram indicates the potential. Slightly outdated being from 2012. e.g. Vorlich, part of the latest acquisition was discovered in 2014. The other one, Austin, is 30km away, so technically almost every 'dot' on the diagram would be feasible. The one stranded field that stands out for me on the diagram is Fram. Google the history of that screw up..... | oilretire
08/8/2016 20:11 | Glad to see its still heading the right way but at a slower rate of knots due to weather. A great day for the share price and I think this is now on a strong upward trend once again. Malcys blog hit the nail on the head regarding ludicrous market cap....its only going to look more ludicrous when they more than double production in 10-12 weeks....hopefully by then the oil price currently at ($45.17) should be nicely back in the 50's and the share price ..well who knows but my guess is comfortably over the £. Good luck to all involved in the tow of FPF1 and safe passage from all on ADVFN IAE BB. | georgie pie
08/8/2016 20:00 | FPF-1 heading west again albeit slowly, just waiting for the storm to pass presumably, as discussed earlier (click on 'past track') | bountyhunter
08/8/2016 18:18 | Malcy update today: Ithaca Energy Ithaca announced on Friday that the FPF-1 had finished its trials and was headed for Stella where it will be producing oil, and revenue in three months time. The extra 16/- b/d will further strengthen Ithaca’s position within the UK independent oil companies and in my view a market cap of less than £250m is ludicrous for such a well run, well financed and profitable company. | whiskeyinthejar
08/8/2016 18:14 | Storm moving further away north west. Lybian militia attack oil terminal. | whiskeyinthejar
08/8/2016 15:39 | oil price rising nicely....$45.22...p | georgie pie
08/8/2016 12:45 | While high winds are always a concern they are still a long ways from the open waters of the North sea and are in a area with plenty of shelter. Not to much to be concerned about IMHO | captainfatcat
08/8/2016 11:37 | A rig being towed in North Sea has broke free from towing cables in storm and run aground in Scotland. Bit worrying this bad weather. | binarypilot |
