In the mail today
"Stakebuilding speculation was behind the gain of 1.5p to 28.5 at exhibitions organiser ITE. The appearence of big buyer suggested US merchant bank Veronis Suhler was adding to its 17pct stake. There was also talk of a mystery Russian buyer mopping up stock. ITE rebuffed a bid approach at 100p over two years ago".
