great news Karlm - but I think you should have hung on.
Look at the 3 year chart - these are still very very cheap
I'd say get in again at an appropriate time

Lot further to go - just bagging a bit :-)

Good luck to all still holding.

Have to agree that I now prefer SCSW to Techinvest, due to the tech boom busting. So much so that I will be letting my techinvest subscription lapse on renewal. With the flat markets expected (probably!!) for the next year, SCSW seems to be the winner with its ability to pull out small caps with recurring revenues and high earnings growth. Of course, if you believe techs will come good this year, Techinvest is highly recommended as it highlights loads of tech companies on low potential future earnings.

Note that you can get a free sample copy of SCSW here:-

Ta Chuckie , not into techs much so only subscribe to SCSW . I was lucky enough to pick up some Nord Anglia at 90p after it had ben written up by SCSW about 16 months ago.

Dil,

I prefer Techinvest. Techinvest updates are better and are able to give shares a further boost after the original recommendation.

SCSW tends to go for themes. Last year SCSW choose the "Biomedical picks and shovel shares", which was a total disaster - it was pretty obvious that biotechs were on about 6 month cycle behind tradtional techs ( the NASDAQ biotech peaked later than the NAZ composite).

Both tipsheets are good and have sufficient subscribers to "move markets".

In terms of influencing my shares purchase. I have bought more shares based on TechInvest's research than SCSW's research.

However, SCSW has been good to me, in that they recommended ITE @ 19p and FIO @ 66p. Those who read my ITE and FIO thread know that I got in FIO @ 39p and ITE @ 16p and 17p.

SCSW - Small Company Sharewatch, an excellent newsletter that I would recommend you subscribe to. It has a very good history with its first portfolio multiplying in value nearly 12 times between 1994 and 2001. The reviews of each company are thorough and SCSW seems to have an uncanny knack of getting the timing just right for re-rating of a share. The magazine originally tipped ITE at 19p in December's issue and has now tipped it as a share for 2002 and added it to its own portfolio 2 which is even better news.

Nap originally comes from horse racing I think and refers to a tipster's choice or a probable winner.

Anyway, I bought in at 21.5p and am hopeful for a lot more to come. The chart is looking good and a lot of recent director buying also adds weight to the investment case. DYOR as usual, but I think ITE is going to be a winner.
