29/11/2002 09:47 | The last issue of SCSW dropped ITE from their portfolio, without any comment. Anyone got any ideas why they did; the subsequent upward movement suggests they were wrong to do so. | truffles
27/11/2002 00:32 | does anyone know of a date for the results? | stevemarkus
27/11/2002 00:02 | Another couple of pence this morning. Run up to the results perhaps. | riverdiver
26/11/2002 18:40 | Who knows? But it is good to finally see some action in this stock. I suspect we could see some good returns over the next week and a half. | stevemarkus
26/11/2002 14:21 | Results maybe but promotion to the FTSE Small Cap is what attracted me. This will attract some institutional buying ahead of the review on Dec 11th. As the results are due out around then it could be a little up and down - will price fall on results and institutions buy then or will they buy ahead? | doubleorquits
26/11/2002 13:12 | riverdance, yes, last year was 10th Dec. I see Fidelity have slowly built up a 7%+ stake. Canny lot. If VS were to launch a bit there would be plenty to support them for a 50p take-out. | gorwel
26/11/2002 13:10 | I think your right there RiverD, its certainly not volume driven. As i posted recently the trend has been little sells going through for the last few weeks. Hope the rise is something more sisinister than the results scenario meself, maybe a bit of advanced news the MMs know about which us poor mushrooms have no knowledge yet. | hterag1
26/11/2002 13:06 | I think its Dec 10th. They claimed they were confident of meeting market expectations and the only forecast I can find is back into profit, 10m this year and 13m next year. Fingers crossed and we may see some upward movement in the price. | riverdiver
25/11/2002 18:32 | some movement over the last couple of days. Anyone know the cause or is it just down to a slightly better sentiment? Would like to see this go bananas once more... | stevemarkus
14/11/2002 13:06 | Lots of little people seem to be off loading their interest in this one of late, I wonder is it anything to do with SCSW taking them out of their portfolio in the November issue. SCSW gave ITE as one of their NAPS for 2002 in their January issue, it would be fair to say that the lack of announcements and static share price has not set the world on fire over the last few months. | hterag1
04/10/2002 11:35 | Thanx for the info "RD" | hterag1
04/10/2002 10:27 | hterag1 The company have got through a number of CEO's over the last few years. I was more interested in a bit at the end of the statement, as follows. 'We have refocused the company on its core competences and today have a profitable business with a healthy balance sheet and an encouraging forward order book' Another interesting snippet about Veronis Suhler 'Each year, the firm publishes two media and communications industry research publications- The Communications Industry Forecast and The Communications Industry Report. The Veronis Suhler Stevenson research library interprets the predictability of media company values and articulates the promise that media properties hold for investors and acquirers.' These guys obviously know what they are doing. Veronis Suhler Stevenson and Veronis Suhler and Associates own 38% of the company between them. They bought a lot at 70p a share placing. 04/10/2002 08:46 | Yesterdays announcement seems to have spooked a small number people into selling, anyone have any thoughts on the implications of the CEO stepping down?. Think i would have been more concerned if it was the FD who had departed. | hterag1

03/10/2002 15:13 | How much of the company do V&S hold now? They are the favourites to bid. How does Fidelity fit in with its 5.62%? | gorwel
03/10/2002 15:11 | Chief Executive has resigned. No talk of a 'big' replacement, FD to take over. A bid must be imminent. How much do you reckon anyone will have to pay?? | gorwel

12/9/2002 16:43 | X = Cross at the Same Price - Where the transaction was effected as an agency cross or a riskless principal transaction at the same price on the same terms (this requires one trade report). | sranmal
12/9/2002 16:31 | Whats a X trade? Because 1012000 went through as an X and i have no idea what that means. | lob25
12/9/2002 14:12 | It was Fidelity buying again. | riverdiver
10/9/2002 16:37 | Does anyone have any idea as to what these large volumes are about? | lob25
10/9/2002 15:54 | Massive trades again.Don't really know what to make of it. Capital selling off their holding perhaps but who's buying? If its VS then it must be getting near the point where intentions will have to be revealed. | riverdiver
10/9/2002 00:07 | This just came back on my radar screen. I agree, this is looking very interesting again. Anyone know if those were buys or cross-trades?? | gorwel
09/9/2002 20:45 | Just a note of caution. If the U.S. goes in on Iraq from air bases in Turkey there could be some fall out there, a country where ITE has significant interests. | azalea |
