Alan sums up nicely the case for investing in itx for 2019 and beyond. Resource stocks are in in for a hard time and likes of itx offer good investment in this market.

The PI. If I'd promised you that I was going to give you £1M BY DECEMBER, and on 2nd January there was still no sign of the money, you'd be okay with that ?

If you were in a restaurant and waiting for food and they said "it'll be with you by 1 o'clock" would you be okay at 2 minutes past 2 and still no food ?

You are a strange boy.

"We expect to have an agreement in place by December.."

By December. To me, that means before the end of November. So we are a month over that with no news / announcement whatsoever.

Is it just me - or is this beginning to feel like something isn't going quite to plan ?

We should hear news soon"As previously announced, AkzoNobel completed a favourable assessment of Itaconix(R) CHT(TM) 122 and stated its intention to enter into a supply and joint marketing arrangement. We expect to have an agreement in place by December."

More likely a bot trade, the technicals for 'sell' were triggered so it sold. They don't care if they lose £20 on a trade as long as they make £30 on a lot more trades. Done thousands of times a day, it's very lucrative, assuming that they are programmed to assess the intraday technicals correctly.

I think that person bought, then placed a stop loss on it, Then the MM's will have no mercy and take it out to create liquidity.

A take out is more likely as time goes by without a JV. Akzo are too big to mess around with third parties and they would prefer full control. After all they are a massive player in this industry and have become mega size for a reason and when they see an opportunity like this they have all other mechanism in place to expand their control over the industry.
We probably see a buy out with a short term % remain under ITX control for the very short term until all patents have been transferred etc.

I would be hoping for 20p plus Jungmana, I believe the IP must be worth £50m.I would think most shareholders and the management would be very happy if there was a 20p takeout.

Yes that's something I have been thinking of too. They could easily snap us for say 10p to 15p

Or maybe Akzo will not mess around and will just buy us out? Look at EPO today... 250% premium - still pocket money to the big boys.
