What's the heck is going on with the bloody spread here.
Bid went down a couple of days ago and today the asking is up.
Anyone with what may be behind the MMs game?

Thanks ladybird, i agree with you, i have not bought a large amount but have tucked them away with the same view, i like smalll cos with good cash balances that are moving into rofit, the large stakeholder also adds to the attraction

Good luck

Nick

Sorry, no reference, but the AFX summary of the market at 3.00 pm yesterday, usually posted at 3.15ish. No intimation in the results, so presumably no more than idle gossip - at any rate for the short term. As others have said, a decent hold medium term with a hope for that sort of thing to happen.

Hello everyone, i bought into these at 5.75 the other day. I am with you on the cash on the balance sheet theory and that this should hold the shares at this level. Does anyone know about the guy who holds the 18% or so stake in them, do we assume he has other ideas for the future....

Just glancing through the 3.00pm market summary on RNS & it attributes today's rise to 'management buyout speculation'. Most likely the actual rise down to the couple of purchases but an interesting rumour to be around.

Just bought another small tranche of 5000. As I posted some time ago I think the compnay knows what it is doing. The importance of the web to business seems to be increasing. Repeat business now covers 72% of costs. Potential net assets more than valuation. Must be worth a small gamble

In fact I was ignoring the £400k likely (but not certain) over the next couple of years and including net debtors/creditors of £577k, which represent realisable cash - assuming no bad debts,of course! Including the £400k adds up to 10.5-11p per share, which is even better.

the company is cash generative..has over 1 million in cash plus an initial 480,000 post balance sheet..oh yes and another 400,000 expected to received over the next 2 years..yep that makes approx 2.1 milion as you stated.

Sure thing ladybird1,
I watched this a while..noticed some large buys on the 21/03.
But a relief..I'm sure there's some delay buys to show later.Even though
5,000 is the NMS you could buy more earlier this morning.
With not many shares in issue this could move up quickly.
Balance sheet is strong ..expect Dividend to return end of his year too.

As you say, results not bad. A relief - the results were due Match and delay always makes you wonder why.

Still waiting for the upturn, but at least the company is trading within its means. Ignoring non-current assets, but including the cash due to be accounted post balance sheet, net current assets are c.£2.1 million, which is about 9p a share. A very fair base for a company that is not bleeding cash and well placed for an upturn.
