Cheers! I also had a look around their website and decided that they are consultants who implement other peoples software. Apart from working with Big Data, do they have a USP?

Yes, but looks pricey to me on fundamentals. They're hoping for Big Data to pay off I guess.

Whilsst I am very happy that ISL seems to attract almost zero attention in respect to the various BB's out there, does anyone know why we had such a great price movement yesterday? I dont think a 40k buy from one of the Directors did it...

Trading Update

IS Solutions (ISL) is pleased to announce that its results for the year ending 31st December 2011 are expected to be in line with market expectations. As forecast in the half year announcement, the beneficial change in business mix experienced in the first half of the year continued throughout the rest of the year, with the drop in product revenues being offset by the increased growth in the managed service and project revenues, resulting in a much stronger gross profit margin. Cash and cash equivalents remained strong throughout the year, even after an increased dividend payment and a further investment in SpeedTrap of GBP500k in the first quarter, it finished above the GBP1 million mark.

The Preliminary announcement of the Company's results will be made in the week commencing 26(th) March 2012.



A really good trading update, lets hope the dividend is increased again.
If I could increase my holding I would do so.

I noticed ISL from an article on the fool about GARP. Has all the hallmarks of a fantastic little company and will be very interested to see the results when they are pubished easly November (I assume). The SAS contract is particularly interesting. Does anyone have any negatives?

This is a paid-for piece of research by Edison dated yesterday ...



It reads pretty well and is clearly the result of collaboration with management. Rightly or wrongly I read it as the first step in publicising the company, possibly in order to attract a bidder.

This is the same as I knew already - I was hoping for more innformation!!
I've been invested in ISL for several years - from 14p to 24p and have been very happy with progress. I hold over 80K shares, part of my pension fund, so I am hoping for more of the same.
Isn't this a quiet board?
I'm a little surprised there isn't more interest.

Jon - market expectations for 2010 are a PTP of £800k, an eps of 2.7p and a divi of 1.1p. That's from FinnCap who is their corporate broker. They do not provide an estimate for 2011 but judging by the contracts signed, the Director buying and the share price strength I'd say there's some strong growth anticipated for this year.

I have a very small interest via an investment trust that I hold and am hoping for a Corporate Action of some sort (takeover, MBO etc) at some point in the next two years. Fingers crossed.

Trading update

Despite an uncertain economic background IS Solutions is pleased to announce that both revenue and profit grew in 2010 and its results for the year ending 31st December 2010 are expected to be in line with market expectations.

In the second half of the year project revenues continued to be weak (as reported at the half year) but were more than offset by the increased growth in the managed services and increasing recurring revenue from license support sales. Cash and cash equivalents remained strong through the year finishing above GBP1m after an increased dividend payment and the investment in SpeedTrap of GBP200k announced in October.
