Second the Les Paul thinking ...wish that I'd bought the Gary Moore Signature !
Had the chance to buy one of the 100 or so ... huge some of money though.

Problem would have been that it would most likely have stayed in it's case and not been used. At least my Standard does get played (not very well)

2004 Lightburst ...fabulous "axe" ...just wish that there was somewhere that it could be played LOUD !

Bit if advice for Les Paul lovers, I love my Les Paul Traditional Goldtop. I bought it brand new in 2011 for £1699 but I regret it as I wish I had put another grand to that and bought a Marc Bolan Signature. The great thing about a good Signature guitar is that it is an investment as well as great to play.

Les Paul Signtures really going up in value now:

Marc Bolan
Gary Moore
Paul Kossoff
Mick Ronson (David Bowie's guitarist)

The above are all dead so the signature models increase in value especially if they are signed.

Slash ones don't go up because he has done Guns n roses, velvet underground and slash as a solo artist and he is still alive so he can do more!

like I say I love my Trad gold top but wish it was a bolan sig
