I saw Bowie live just as Alladin Sane had been released and which, from a personal perspective, was just before my Maths "O" level (which I failed). I am similar to you when it comes to certain shapes as well Bamboo, as it seems my fingers are not as nimble (chordwise) as they once were Ayway for practice, I've written a little ditty using a fairly standard jazz sequence: Intro C69 B9 (bosonaova style (a bit Buble though)) Verse Fmaj7 F#dim Gm7 Gm7/C Fmaj7 Gm7/C Chorus Am7 Abdim Gm7 Gm7/C C7b9 Fmaj7 Still working on the middle eight though LOL | merlin55

06/6/2012 11:45 | Bamboo2, basically in a major triad, an augmented chord is root, 3rd and sharpened 5th (#5) and a diminished chord is root, flattened 3rd (b3) and flattened 5th (b5) So in C, the major triad is C-E-G Augmented is C-E-G# Diminished is C-Eb-Gb Hope that helps. | merlin55
