06/2/2013 14:32 | I think they'll issue an RNS when they're going to start trading, and possibly have a new ticker. They'll arrange for your shares to be 'forwarded' to the new shell. | upthediff
05/2/2013 07:13 | The shares I had in IVE are they lost or will they be forwarded into this new shell? | snurkle1
01/2/2013 15:27 | If the directors were risking some of their money, I might have considered risking some but as they are not apparently investing one penny then no way. Equally I find it quite amazing that 2 people can come along, get themselves elected as directors vote themselves fees and intend to obtain options at the AGM without recourse to shareholders or investing a penny. Nice work if you can get it. It may of course be that they have no money in which case it does not say much for their track record. | bradley13
01/2/2013 13:17 | samuelh They Called me because they were annoyed that Barclays had not sent out the offer to anybody. So I think they are calling all Barclay's nominee holders because of this. I queried the minimum investment because it says in the pack that there is no minimum investment. He said there was a minimum of £30000 at the beginning but not any longer. He also said none of the directors are getting paid! On the tone of the call I might have considered investing but since I dumped the pack I no longer have the application form and I'm too lazy to look for another so I'll let it pass. | osammyboy2
01/2/2013 08:30 | I got my pre qoutation pack this week from them, but i wont be applying, they still want a minimum investment of £1000 from shareholders. They don't fsa status yet, they don't have the software yet, non of the new directors have subscribed for any new shares or have any shares whatsoever, but they will be awarding themselves share options at the agm. They say the software will be bought by either buying the company that produces it for shares in the new ive. Then later on it states "Modifications to the p2p software should enable the company to use the software (copy of it)". Copy! i thought they said they were buying the software company earlier. Allen and Gil are already claiming £2500 a month so that £30k they raised should look after the for about a year. And Allen was a director of bridge hall stockbrokers which went into liquidation last year. | joe8472
31/1/2013 20:45 | Why did he call if they have already reached their minimum investment target? Did the call start out if he was hoping you would invest more? | samuelhogg
31/1/2013 20:04 | Got the phone call this evening from a marketing guy, Very enthusiastic about the future of the company. Cleared up a couple of points I had been concerned about particularly about the kind of business proposed. I had thought from earlier in formation that this was going to be a wonga type loan shark business. The idea of payday loans had turned me totally against investing but he stressed that this would not be their type of business and they confirmed they had already raised their minimum investment target of £30000. Anyway too late to reconsider I'd already binned all the info | osammyboy2

29/1/2013 19:06 | has anyone else been contacted by a US outfit called Ardea Capital LP ? Ardea claim to be A&M specialists and have a client who wants to acquire IVE and is willing to pay $1-$2 a share. they wanted me to sign a non-disclosure agreement, send copies of my certificates, etc., whereupon I will be made a formal offer. it's clearly a scam of some sort, probably they'll want upfront fees for all the legal paperwork they mention are involved in due diligence, etc, etc. | backmarker
29/1/2013 13:04 | FFS so this is going to drag on further??!! PS Still no update on the website, so we're still relying on other shareholders for updates on what's going on. Very poor show. | upthediff
28/1/2013 20:38 | I received the letter today. States the company has issues an open offer to shareholders of the company only, and as there is approximately 3,000 shareholders so demand for the shares is expected to be high and shareholders are encouraged to apply for shares as soon as possible. | samuelhogg
28/1/2013 18:17 | Letter received, 'satisfactory level of support from shareholders for the recent open offer for new shares at 0.5 pps, and so the company can now proceed to the next stage of its development'...... 13/1/2013 21:06 | Since I started investing I've wisened up. Directors of these companies are generally no more intelligent and no different to any of us here. Most entrepreneurs fail and that is no different with company directors. Some are lazy, some work hard but go about it the wrong way, and the odd one does things right. I don't know the new directors from Adam. The business idea may be viable, but can I trust other people with my money? Generally no. These days I trade from charts, with charts you need confirmation of a price pattern before entering the trade, in a way, the same goes for small cap stocks in that you need confirmation that they are doing things right before committing your investment. The business idea is certainly valid, but beyond that there is no business plan, and there is no confirmation that the business plan will be a good one. That's why I'm excited about the potential prospects, but not parting with any cash without confirmation that those prospects are good. And that's why I now invest/trade predominantly in currencies. Nobody can manipulate them, the fundamentals are readily available and factual. If the investment goes wrong, there's only 1 person that got it wrong. Me. | rs2ooo |
