19/4/2024 07:12 | If memory serves me correctly, I read somewhere that Siemens have an option to acquire Bentley if Bentley are approached by a 3rd party? | p1nkfish
19/4/2024 06:35 | Schneider confirms talks with Bentley Systems across Bloomberg | mighunter
18/4/2024 20:56 | Investors holding more than 3% has been updated, to date of 30th March 2024 and can be compared to the figures in the 2023 Annual Report. 73.78% now held amongst the top 7 groups, 1 of which is the Directors. There has been distribution into a base of lower volume holders compared to last year. | p1nkfish
18/4/2024 19:36 | hp, didn't see your post, interesting isn't it. There could be a scramble. There are gaps to be plugged in this market and would be cheaper to buy than to build from scratch when speed is of the essence to capture Gov spending and market share as quickly as possible. IQGEO is small beer, a product line gap plugger. | p1nkfish
18/4/2024 17:54 | Bentley interesting today, a very decent bounce. Not clear if this is segment related or specific to Bentley. If segment related we might see some of it soon. Big Bentley volumes. | p1nkfish
18/4/2024 17:25 | I hope they will. My trading is not working out so well! I might stick to long-term in the ISA. | w13ken
18/4/2024 15:44 | Interesting to see if anyone steps in to buy if the price goes much lower. A weekly close below 353p will not be good. The daily already looks poor. | p1nkfish
18/4/2024 15:11 | New IQGeo blog out: How UK altnets can optimize fiber rollout with an integrated PIA strategy. It tells us more about how IQGeo's software links in with the Openreach Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) environment. This database of ducts and poles enables altnets to understand the current Openreach network infrastructure and use it efficiently in their own fiber rollout planning, dramatically reducing network construction costs. | w13ken
18/4/2024 09:56 | The first of the IQGeo Meetups (EMEA) is on the way - tickets £125-250. Americas & Japan to follow. 16/4/2024 15:07 | Just bought more in my Trading account at 387p 👍 | w13ken
16/4/2024 07:18 | We know where they stand so below are the 2 main factors for me going forward: 1) "We have market leadership presence in North America for the telecom industry and in 2024 we will be working to establish a similar reputation across the electric utility industry." PAGE 23. Slower moving but a much bigger market. One that could catapult IQGEO into the big league. 2) The other factor will be when ARR exceeds service revenue for the right reasons - both growing. PAGE 21. When that occurs they should crow about it loudly. Ideally ARR > non-recurring services + non-recurring software revenue but ARR > non-recurring services alone will be a big milestone. Upper management have substantial incentives via stock-options at relatively low price. Let's hope it doesn't make them too cozy and they are still driven enough to exploit this opportunity to the n'th degree. Sansoms share sale was well timed for after year end so he still shows as a higher % owner. Credit to Robert Sansom for not taking remuneration over the years. | p1nkfish
16/4/2024 06:37 | The Annual report is out today and, with over a 100 pages, there's a lot to take in. It's beautifully designed and even that is an indicator that the company has quality stamped through it like a stick of rock. The AGM is on the 15th May. I just bought some in Trading at 406p and will buy more if it drops below 400p - DYOR. | w13ken
11/4/2024 10:08 | One or more of them mention ISPA on their websites. With IQGeo being a paid up member now there should hopefully be some pitches made to them. | w13ken
11/4/2024 09:57 | Veneous will be active in Shropshire in remote areas. Training session in London, Uxbridge, soon with INCA for design & build. Also new Workflow Manager Videos now on website. | p1nkfish
11/4/2024 07:57 | UK, 10th April 2024, Gov spend on rural broadband. | p1nkfish
10/4/2024 11:46 | I think we get the message. Worth a look/read. Possible European Grid Bottlenecks. | p1nkfish
10/4/2024 10:07 | IQGeo joins ISPA to promote innovation for UK ISPs. "IQGeo today announced that it has joined the Internet Service Providers’ Association (ISPA) as part of their Partnership Programme. ISPA is a leading UK trade association for internet companies and for nearly 30 years has been dedicated to promoting competition, innovation, and self-regulation for the positive development of the industry..." This can only be positive for IQGeo's influence and the doors it could open. | w13ken
10/4/2024 07:37 | The selling was probably CGT-related. There were lots of smallish trades. Likely there was more CGT activity than usual this year, ahead of the reduction in the allowance to the derisory £3,000 a year. Similar pattern with Warpaint (W7L) which, like IQG, was up ~100% over the FY. It dropped about 10% leading up to the FY end. Interestingly, it has recovered this fully after a positive TU, and I would expect IQG to do the same on any positive news. | horseyphil
10/4/2024 04:42 | If it falls by a decent amount I think institutions will step in to take advantage and we will see more newsflow too. Such a fall would not surprise me. They happen. | p1nkfish
09/4/2024 23:09 | Good interview with Raf and, as the Bloomberg article indicates, energy and network demands will only grow exponentially from here, which bodes well for IQGeo's solutions. Aside from Richard, Haywood & Raf, it's fair to say that all of the extended management team at IQGeo are uniformly excellent. We've not met the CTO yet but we should hear more on the upcoming technical roadmap soon. I've no serious concerns about the recent share price drop. To misquote Field of Dreams: "If you build it, they will come". | w13ken
09/4/2024 21:31 | 12th March, some of the needs of the EU grid upgrade, 2nd part of the page. This is today, related to trading power but the dynamics feed down to the field level. "“As more and more grids get liberalized, the trading sphere gets even larger,” said Holtum." If IQGEO can't exploit a small % of this opportunity something is wrong. At their margins they only need a very small %. | p1nkfish
09/4/2024 20:17 | Today - Raf Meersman | p1nkfish |
