I am sure folk who are able to look years out will be watching these interesting news releases:

"..Signs Major US Telecom Operator"

"..Selected by Major US Electrical Utility Firm"

And then the spate of director buying, both direct and indirect. Interesting that Kestrel are keen to mop up all shares hitting the market here up at these price points too.

Any more interesting news releases to follow?

I bought these a while back but then did the usual sell too early thing.

Biggest mistakes of 2021, selling too early and then getting too carried away with the early market bonanza by pushing the boat out into more speculative shares (SWG, PXC, OMI, FUM..)...and then trusting them by holding!

Terrible!

Yuk!

Don't do what I do :-)

All imo

Good stuff p1nkfish. Do you tweet? Would be good to get some IQG traction there from private investors and you could help with your knowledge.

2023 could be IQG's year as the emerging profitabe company at the cross-roads of........

digital transformation, saas, mobility,
critical infrastructure/utilities
5g & green roll-out
resilience

+ other trends, becomes apparent to the wider market.

pye, the interesting thing is there is still a big market avaiable and IQG is only nibbling at the edges really and still picking up some deals > $1M+ each and cost base soon covered and with decent cash on balance sheet.

As more revenue added the bottom line will respond nicely in proportion and with ARR should be reasonably predictable. Also, can't argue with top line growth and that is happening.

Kestrel bought again on 31/12, 25K at 128p
They not looking for a 10% upside.

nice quiet board here with sensible commentary. Thanks for all the input. Patience required but happy to hold for a few years.

Re-read the below and it suggests $4.5M is for the SUBSCRIPTION. TCV placed.
Associuated services are extra on top, not yet placed.
If so total value of > $4.5M.

'The 5-year contract has a TCV of $4.5m for a subscription to use IQGeo's software with strong potential for future expansion. Orders for associated services are expected in 2022.'

They have now won decent $ from major util and major telco in about 6 weeks.
Excellent.

Need to clear the seller at 134p and about another 25K-30K of volume might just do it.

Looks like Lumen. Might, with a bit of luck, lead to some UK interest too if they are active here via Centurylink.

Sorry, you're right. In that case, can't figure out who it is, but great news anyway.

Nice complement to the big utility contract announced 2 weeks ago. Continues to look very promising.

I think it's Lumen/CenturyLink.
My target is to see IQG towards 260p towards end 2023.

Judging by the description pf, I think it might be Cox Communications.

Have a great 2022 w13.
My pleasure to keep an eye on this.

I see 2023/4 as years where it could really motor but price may move before then in anticipation even allowing for a sell-off we may encounter.

Good luck everyone.

Still no CTO. If they do acquire a smaller dynamic company they might pick up a CTO there at the same time. A CTO that might hang around longer than the waste Rich Weiss was in sales.

I check politician interests every so often and Lord Nash is a holder on most recent check. Many others with listed shareholdings are in FTSE350 types.

30th December, 68,500 shares traded reported late. They look like sales.
End of US tax year so good chance it's someone clearing the decks.

In context, the average 3 month volume of shares traded PER DAY is < 15,000 so this is about 4.5x that average. Not large volume in the great scheme of things but it is vs the average for IQG.

The good news is some other(s) thought it worth transacting to take that stock at 127p-128p in the expectation of gain. About £87K in total and I doubt they are looking for a small upside.

No way to know but with a bit of luck that is US selling cleared for a while.

Onwards to the TU (earliest in latest few years has been 18th Jan, usually last week of Jan) and then towards mid year another pointer to when breakeven likely.

Kestrel holdings has not reduced in absolute terms but has done so in % terms due to the new shared issued for OSP Insight acquisition. From 26.07% to 25.99%.

Pretty sure a predator or 2 will be running a slide rule over this.
Would like to see it develop independently.

The £14M type revenue is chicken feed to the big players so would be a very strategic bolt-on target to plug a gap in a big players portfolio. Could fit in a few different places.

Kestrel just buy significant holdings in typically software/tech companies were they see value usually on the behalf of discretionary clients. They do not buy the whole company.

One more director buy and they really do hold quite a lot. I wonder if this is a precursor to it going private? I hope not!

One UK multi-utility looking to moving into Smart Metering and MAP is Fulcrum in Sheffield.

Looks like they need some help becoming more efficient and might be useful for IQG to have a chat with them. The CEO (Terry Dugdale) used to be the COO so might be more open minded than some to anything than helps operations.

Steve Parker is COO since Aug 2021.

We can expect weakness if some of the stock released today hits the market.
125p is a line in the sand from where I stand.

TU will be interesting and useful to get some idea of the cash balance after today and the recent headcount increases.
