29/3/2021 16:50 | My HL account is showing a move up in share price 99 (bid) - 101 (offer) so maybe the 2 trades of 635k volume were buys instead of cross trades. Then again after market prices are sometimes missleading. RP comes across very well in his presentations and seems pleased to answer investor questions. Hopefully it all bodes well for the future. | ![]() red ninja
29/3/2021 15:14 | Now that they are well-established in telcos, definitely looks like the big push in 2021 is going to be in utilities. Interesting blog just posted by Richard Weiss on energy networks. Btw, anyone else really impressed by Richard Petti? | ![]() horseyphil
29/3/2021 13:51 | Transfer? A move up due? | ![]() p1nkfish
28/3/2021 20:31 | Utilities next with Oracle partnership? | ![]() p1nkfish
28/3/2021 13:02 | Yes, this could be really good news for IQG pf. Rogers is the largest telco in Canada and operates throughout the country with the exception of Quebec (but IQG already has a Tier 1 customer in Quebec). Importantly, Rogers is dominant in Ontario which is the province with the highest population and growing fast - its headquarters are in Toronto. All in all, IQG potentially has the whole country covered. Population of 38M may not be huge but the the distances mean that Canada has always been a world leader in telecommunications, so for IQG to have so many major customers there is encouraging. | ![]() horseyphil
28/3/2021 12:51 | I can't imagine Shaw having committed to IQGEO to the degree they did and then that investment not be adopted by Rogers. This is very useful news and a way into the big one in Canada. | ![]() p1nkfish
28/3/2021 12:39 | horseyphil, remember your post below? 29th Jan 2021 - "Excellent news. Looks like this is Shaw Communications, a company with a market cap of £7bn. The only company they don't serve among the top 5 telecoms in Canada must be Rogers which is the largest." | ![]() p1nkfish
28/3/2021 12:24 | Rogers are recruiting for a Manager of Geospatial in Toronto. | ![]() p1nkfish
28/3/2021 12:21 | Shaw in Canada was won by IQGEO and announced recently, some potentially impactful news as Rogers are acquiring Shaw. This will be a very large opportunity - 5G, wired, cable, optical etc. Decent investments to be made. Presentation and MP3 on Rogers website under investor section. | ![]() p1nkfish
27/3/2021 14:35 | Some new vids, 2 targeting Smallworld, Utilities & Telco. - ospinsight | ![]() p1nkfish
25/3/2021 22:19 | Barring something unexpected growth is baked in the cake. Software perpetual licence alone is expected to grow £800K. As GE Smallworld support ebbs to zero, average gross margins should benefit too. Was good to here Richard Petti appreciate shareholders and make it clear they are working to make the company a really attractive investment, focusing on ARR, break-even and growth. | ![]() p1nkfish
25/3/2021 08:20 | They have done proactive and investor meets company on previous results so don't think it is unusual. Proactive is just an interview and on investor meets company, the investors can additionally ask questions. | ![]() red ninja
24/3/2021 17:34 | There was the Proactive video yesterday and a meeting for investors tomorrow. Have to wonder if news is due as either/or of the talks could have done the job so why two? | ![]() p1nkfish
24/3/2021 10:31 | Finncap has raised its short-term target price from 110p to 120p. | ![]() horseyphil
23/3/2021 09:16 | Interesting comment by the CEO in this morning's Proactive Investors interview that he actually sees more potential long-term for IQG in utilities than in telcos. They are nicely placed to capitalise on several megatrends. | ![]() horseyphil
23/3/2021 08:42 | "I am confident we can continue our growth trends in the coming year." If that's % growth then it is excellent and worth a high rating. Not many many those %'s. | ![]() p1nkfish
15/3/2021 22:24 | Notice the volume today. Interesting to watch what happens before the release next week if a seller is cleared. | ![]() p1nkfish
15/3/2021 15:32 | Much more confident in this management team than I ever was in the old Ubisense management. Will be interested in what they have to say about Japan. That looked very promising but seems to have gone quiet. Good that they have addressed the UK/EU sales underperformance. I think they are focusing heavily on the OSPI products now that those have the added mobile capability. Nice revamp of the OSPI website, and being heavily promoted on the Internet. Next Thursday's update and Investor Meet presentation are going to be very interesting. Hope to hear good things. | ![]() horseyphil
14/3/2021 17:01 | Mid Sept 2015 is the last time the price (for the old Ubisense) was where it is now. 5 1/2 years to get back to that. In the meantime there was a peak mid June 2018 it has also only recently overcome. Let's hope management can get all of it in the rear view mirror with convincing results so we don't head back down as happened mid June 2018 from 86p down to about 40p in mid July 2019. It is tightly held but if they drop the ball it could easily halve again if a decent sized holder heads for the exit. Needn't be a 3% holder. | ![]() p1nkfish
11/3/2021 13:47 | About time, I think there was an AIM rule where it needed doing evey 6 months at least. Good, it now accounts for 86% of 57,312,252 shares, so only 8,023,715 not accounted for on the list. Previously it listed 74.7% of 49,594,086 with about 12.5M not listed. | ![]() p1nkfish
11/3/2021 13:17 | The Major Shareholders list has been updated on the website, pf. Canaccord Genuity has increased its holding from 12.2% to 14.3%, and there's a new 3% holder in Teviot Partners. According to the FT, Walker Crips sold all of a 519K holding between Aug 20 and Feb 21, which will explain those times when there was a persistent seller. | ![]() horseyphil
10/3/2021 15:17 | Depending on the March release and presentation on 25th, the short-term trend could turn positive. The 2yr+ is still positive but the 1yr and lower has been in/out of sell/buy indicator on/off for a while. It needs a break > 101p at higher than average volume. Not a lot of free stock available and price voltality has been compressing as it forms a base 96p-101p. Some decent results/news and it can move into the next higher range. Am expecting an upgrade to FinnCap forecast before end of 2021. | ![]() p1nkfish |
