Just posted on the IQG page on Linkedin:-

"IQGeo’s Network Manager software honored in 2020 Diamond Technology Review Awards

We are super proud that IQGeo Network Manager was recognized among the best in the industry by the 2020 Broadband Technology Report's Diamond Technology Reviews.

The stellar third-party judging panel included executives from operators such as, Buckeye, Comcast, Charter, Cox, Mediacom, Rogers, Spectrum and Suddenlink, plus well-known industry consultants with vast professional experience."

Good profile raising.

How about a module for EV charging infrastructure, should be easy given what IQG already have. Worth a read.

They only have 17 sales/marketing people and clearly the US and Japan are where they have most traction. Thus it looks like new clients in the short term will be won in those areas.

If they are targeting Liberty Global then it may be the entry point is through US ie Denever office.

I see Liberty Global owns 50% of VodafoneZiggo a possible way into Vodafone ?

If IQG want to get there quick they do really need to be talking to the likes of Liberty Global. I hope they are not just mopping up the small fry in Europe. Tempted to buy some Liberty in the US as looks interesting overall on value and reach and prospects.

Lots of small fry = diverse and resilient but to motor fast a big fish needs to be landed to get attention.

Yes Ingenta doing well, acquired a modest holding a few months ago.

ULS also (Kestrel stable) bouncing a bit today.

INGENTA divi and buyback, another Kestrel holding, see IQG going down same sort of path but ideally lower cost base and more rapid growth.

Foot to pedal ASAP before others come to.muddy the waters. They are still small, others with long reach will not hang about now.

From the investor meet the company webinar, IQG state their sales/marketing staff have come down from 23 -> 17 this year. They also made sales/marketing appear a pretty involved process ie they have to understand the companies needs pretty thoughly and I guess that takes time and effort so not sure how fast they will be able to ramp up sales to ne clients. Also US and Japan seem their biggest markets ie easier to make the next sale in.

They did say they would recruit more sale/marketing staff when ready, but they were not going to rush it.

My guess is $50/seat/month = $432K subs over 3 yrs, balance of $368K as services over 2 years.

Expect TDS will be worth more than the below over time as other services/products also probably adopted.

"will provide 240 user licenses so TDS can improve construction efficiency to support its fibre network expansions."

"an overall value of USD 0.8m (GBP 0.6m) comprised of both a software licence subscription to be recognised over the next three years and certain implementation services to be recognised over the next two years."

US is way ahead of Europe on adoptions, gap to be corrected. Perhaps IQG have problems in sales process in EU or possibly EU is just backwards at driving efficiency in the field and has reluctance to adopt new processes. Either way a poor show so far in what should be a massive market.

Post 281. There were clues. Most probably the news release was not ok'ed by TDS at the time so they were unable to be explicit.

The last contract announcement was vague in that it did not clearly state the partner was TDS Telecom, form linkedin this is clear :-

“We selected the IQGeo software based on a wide range of criteria, but one of the key product advantages is its mobile capabilities,” explained Ken Paker, Senior vice president and chief technology officer at TDS. “To properly manage construction tasks, we need a mobile app that is simple for our staff and contractors to use and works in rural areas. Many construction areas do not have network connectivity so the geospatial workflow management and as-built capture capabilities must operate offline.”

Very little free stock now. Did some dummy buys earlier. Only way is up. H2 supposedly "interesting". Still waiting to see new products and any news out of Europe.

Proactive interview was interesting, this shouldn't be a cheap company given potential, growth, quality potential of earnings etc.

Mmm software companies can already spend more money on their platform ..

Does the the design part of the platform have the ability to use fault/event tree data in order to provide reliability data and thus introduce redundancy were appropriate to improve network reliability ?

Any CFO worth his salt won't over promise, especially when only in the job since 10th Sept. I'm probably wrong but expect breakeven sooner than that unless they have other plans for the income.

In the Investor meet Company presentation, the CFO is talking about the IQG becoming cash flow positive back end 2021/start 2022. I thus assume the first chance of profit in accounts will be the 2022 interims or following finals.

Thus good performance, but not quite as close to profitability as thought.

The sales/marketing staff seemed to have gone down from 23 full year 2019 to 17 in 2020 first half. Thus I'm thinking they probably be continuing to sign up around 3 tier 1 logos in a 6 month period.

Yep stock for sale, but the seller appears to be taking his time as share price is not crashing.

Interims as expected. New CFO sounds more chirpy than Petti and well connected.

No useful news out of Europe. Needs to be put right else why have the sales staff overhead? Gaping hole in that geography.

Someone is selling, no big move until overhang cleared.

On IQGEO linkedin page, Yukari Goto (IQGEO Sales Manager Japan) states:-

"On a local level we are really starting to make a big impact on Japanese infrastructure companies and that is very exciting for us."

Hopefully more to come in Japan.

What they don't get also is at break even all new signings are close to running through to bottom line x margin. The cost base covered by existing recurring revenue. Margins can increase or some given to partner network to increase reach via them.

IQG should go and talk to Inv Chronicle etc to get some column inches.
