26/7/2018 15:13 | Great posts from Doc1975, suffernofools and Belt n braces today. Keep them coming chaps. Manipulation seems to be the buzz word today and I'll go along with that. I note that whilst IQE is down 5p to 97.3p as I write, the "Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole" share, namely VRS is up 2p to 124p. Whether you classify the latter as a tech share [ref. the supposed tech share sell-off],I do not know. If we are down a mere 4p at close-of-play, it may be classified as "a good day at the office". Just been to my local chippy, 'The Town Frier' - 'Cheap As Chips at 185p' it said on the menu. Where have I heard that before? PS What's happened to 'you know who'? | regasclockwork
26/7/2018 14:45 | Suffernofools: My short position in the Dow is well offside at the moment but it is only a matter of time I think before it joins the FANGS. | bocase
26/7/2018 14:40 | solderflux, and they are trying so hard, NOT! As their comments are extremely see through! | garyjonesltd
26/7/2018 14:40 | bocase - Yes - my FANG short is looking very healthy with IG :) - FB is dying and sooner or later the Nasdaq is going to fall off a cliff.... | suffersnofools
26/7/2018 14:36 | Dont think it’s tech sell off, Apple, Lite, Skyworks all doing nicely. Pure shorter manipulation here. | solderflux
26/7/2018 14:36 | So I log back in after a few days to see if the BB has returned to its previous good quality self, but alas no, our resident whinger is still here clogging it up with the same misinformed drivel and conspiracy nonsense. I'll try again in a few week weeks. I thought with age came wisdom? Reminds me of the loud bore you often get in a restaurant who believes everyone needs to hear their conversation *sigh* | suffersnofools
26/7/2018 14:34 | This will hit back to 102-104p level in no time again. Pass the ball game is on between. T rowe will not let it go below 100p for too long and Marshalls will close as they have been doing. Dow Jones up. H2 is always favourable for Semis. So sit tight or buy more at low levels. | mhassanriaz
26/7/2018 14:27 | someone recently posted that the more times a support it tested the weaker it gets. very perceptive | adejuk
26/7/2018 14:24 | 80p seems to be the target | adejuk
26/7/2018 14:24 | Doc1975: I think your comment is a bit harsh. Part of due diligence is reading analysts reports and some were very detailed indeed I remember. They are paid vast sums to do due diligence on behalf of investors and most have price targets in the 180-220 range..so did they not do due diligence. We are entitled to rely on advice from solicitors, accountants, surveyors etc but not seemingly from analysts. Why do they exist then. It would be more useful seemingly if they did something useful like picking up litter for their vast pay packets. | bocase
26/7/2018 14:11 | Retest of previous lows circa 90p could be a good buy in point... personally holding out for 10p lower still. | rathean
26/7/2018 14:09 | Heading for that gap by the looks of it | panic investor
26/7/2018 13:55 | doc197526 Jul '18 - 13:28 - 19302 of 19318 0 2 0 Guys, let’s face it. We are towards the end of a very long bull market. ........... Funny that, people said that in 1920 and 1930, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 2000, 2010, 2018 ! As long as inflation exists then we will always be in a bull market ! | american idiot
26/7/2018 13:53 | its bull - like it :-) Most of the conspiracy theories on here are bull. | doc1975
26/7/2018 13:53 | if that doesn't make them cry all the way to the bank they are sociopaths. oh, hang on... | adejuk
26/7/2018 13:51 | if i were 50 i wouldn't give two hoots about the way the shorters are destroying shareholder value in time they will unwind and value will out. i am well into my 70's and would like it to unwind in my lifetime | adejuk
26/7/2018 13:48 | how nice another glorious top up opp courtesy of all the pi selling! and a penny share to boot. what bliss | adejuk
26/7/2018 13:47 | mf punto! | adejuk
26/7/2018 13:46 | Belt n braces, Mackerel fisherman are hardly representative of the whole UK economy! | garyjonesltd
26/7/2018 13:46 | About now .... me thinks ..........Going in, ;-) | squire007
26/7/2018 13:43 | Hand line mackerel fishermen in North East of Scotland were getting £ 180 per box recently, today I believe £25 per box (the fishermen are complaining). Is this not how a market works? Supply and demand? | belt n braces
26/7/2018 13:42 | At the end of a very long bull market? Now that is BULL!! The only main economic issue ahead to worry about is BREXIT! | garyjonesltd
26/7/2018 13:40 | I am astonished that anyone would think we are near the end of a very long bull market. The FTSE is up less than 10% in 18 years. You would expect several hundred percent in a very long bull market. | mad foetus |
