Severely regret not holding on to the shares I bought at 35p, selling in the 50s. Continues to look good here, if a tad pricey.

Anyway, data centre related, some may be interested in Mountfield, MOGP, who actually build and kit out data centres. Currently at an all time low, but have been picking up plenty of contracts recently.

Maybe hes been brought in to help grow operations.... maybe to help with a TO?

Good name would have fancied him to have been big in the drinks industry.

Sixteen stocks to pull you through stagnant growth:

Even in a time of low growth, I think there are good opportunities out there. One is Iomart (LSE: IOM), which provides managed hosting services. It's a really interesting business in a growth market. It's got good sites and owns its properties freehold. It's operationally geared, has cash on the balance sheet and pays a dividend.

Nermil, I suppose it will be at the end of this month or very early October. With the results (interims) on 29th November. Performing reasonably well considering market.

I feel Iomart is an interesting stock and worth an investment (if you have any inclination to AIM). For those who don't know it's principle activity is providing web-based managed hosting services. In other words very much involved in Cloud computing. It would appear that the Cloud is here to stay, in my opinion, although there are big concerns about security. In these times of austerity the Cloud appears to offer large savings in corporate IT costs.
The financial also stack up:

iomart described as a 'Scottish Star to add to any portfolio' in this week's Shares Magazine. iomart is featured along with 4 other Scots companies (Cairn, Stagecoach,Weir & Craneware) in a detailed feature: 'Britain's Got Talent Part 8 Flowering Scotland'. Rated as a buy.

There seems to be no reason why one day the shares should go up 5p and the following day down 4p. Any explanation??

I got stop-lossed out of IOM as expected. I remain on the sidelines whilst the markets deal with all the ongoing negativity.

I guess if someone were to make an offer now in these conditions it would be in the £1.20-£1.30 zone.

I'm sure that with time stocks in datacenter companies will be viewed in the same way as utility companies.

Telecity H1 results indicate datacentre segment strength
We note that Telecity (NR) reported a strong H1'11, with revenue +20%YoY (£112.2m) and PBT of £33.9m, more than double H1'10 (£14.3m). It paid £87.6m in for Data Electronics in Ireland, noting the strength of demand for data centre in Ireland, with many international companies choosing Dublin as their preferred entry point into Europe.
Telecity said it continues to benefit from the trend towards cloud computing, where companies or individuals access remotely-hosted software over the Internet.
We remain similarly positive on Iomart's hosted services datacentre model, which we also see as a potential candidate for medium-term sector consolidation.
