Why has it taken them so long to review their accounting procedures?

From todays RNS

"In addition the Company has completed its initial review of the impact on its
Annual Accounts of complying with the provisions of IFRS."

When I started this thread I had great hopes.

But they wasted NicNames and Easyspace, with online control panels that did not work and some of the worst customer relations.

Now they have lost direction.

A real shame.

Glad to be of assistance....

EzeeDsl is part of the 186k (VISP) empire of Dominic Marrocco's
, who over the last 9 months has swallowed up a number of smaller VISP's piecemeal, without the infrastructure in place to service a growing userbase. Support network outsourced to India.

It's a dogs dinner, and users are abandoning ship faster than the lifeboats can be launched.

EzeeDsl..........

Iomart Group: Acquisition of 51% stake in Ezee DSL Ltd receives frosty response.

I am not surprised.

Iomart have their work cut out.

Read all about it here.....

.... and here's the end of the article.....

On the face of it, the deal looks like a shrewd one for Iomart – the opportunity to move into datacentres could be lucrative. However, it will likely take at least 12 months before investors will be able to access the success or failure of the move. In the meantime, Iomart has its work cut out for it convincing investors that the upfront investment required is a worthy one.

It could have been the play/pay-off based on valuation.

You have to ask why they needed a placing that required them to place the shares at only 55p.

Sounds like they urgently needed the money!

The acquisition and placing has at least provided a buying opportunity.:@)

The statement reads:

...'KBC Peel Hunt has conditionally placed 20,000,000 Placing Shares to raise £11 million at a price of 55 pence per share'...

Do we therefore assume that these will be privately placed?

You say ¨that´s as far as the facts take you¨, GERRI-C, and you are right in so much that the Company has not actually made any further comment about SafeKeeper since mid November´s interims, but I think the tone of the comments made at that time goes some way to explaining the recent interest in the stock. Suggest you re-read the statement, and then compare it to previous statements. It really sounds as though the Company is finally on the verge of making some significant progress in the States. Perhaps the recent series of chunky deals and reawakening of the share price is a sign that the Company´s optimism has proven to be well founded.

mesquida,

All I'll say is, it's been a long time since I last saw even a re-run!

OK, I've always thought Netintelligence to be a particular asset and I note the launch of Safekeeper in the U.S. in late 2006. That's as far as the facts take me.....

GERRI-C - are you old enough to remember The Graduate? ¨Ben, I have just one word to say to you - SafeKeeper!¨
