No point in selling down here imo for the reasons already discussed. The share price has already taken a double hit based on A2.

Exactly Dunderheed That statement was itself reason to sell,they were expecting imo a lot of revenue coming in the short term,now they have to juggle what to do next thats how it comes over to me

I'm confident here that's because of it's cash position and it's 50-50 partner cal energy, A1 will be drilled but I expect it will be done by a two party advisers to limit any chances of water interception in main producing gas zone's. A2 could actually be a security that A1 will not be done in the same way. I take a positive from a negative and the company can make sure it doesn't happen again. I'll be emailing the company as I want Rupert Newall to reassure the market better as us shareholders has been scalped today.

Look at the revenue from march 2022 first gas, also there's 65m from cal energy that's not been drawn down yet on the books, that's available for phase 2. Company cash position is good, I'm disappointed today but not enough to sell and has helps me buy more shares at 5p. A1 well be better placed as stated a few weeks back when A2 encountered water zones. Not new news but the Southwark platform it there for a reason and that's because the gas is there and it'll be a linkage rig for future fields. I'm not concerned as it's one well setback but revenue is high and A1 will be placed just right. Not the best of news today but it's not the field that's the problem just the drill position. Ceo Rupert Newall should reassure the market soon as it's not a disaster. Gl to you anyway.

Deltalo has just explained that re the bond due September 2024 which quite likely will be refinanced at that time. Plus there is a significant cash balance right now probably larger than the market cap.

Does the cash position takes into account current drill or future drills for 2023 ?Why is the bond payment not a problem?

The bond is not a problem, September 2024 so plenty of time, and the bond will probably be restructured so in time be more flexible to pay dividend, A2 is a setback but it's not going to stop future plans in the field or other field's. Revenue is good and we're part hedged so look beyond today as it is a setback but we are a startup gas producer that is now trading massively below pre producing price. What's your thoughts on the share price today and company value?

Who the hell is selling as it's not as if it's going bust or have a cash flow problem, the company is making 80m to 100m a year as forecast off just two wells that one has a higher gas flow potential. Southwark field has the gas there it's just the three zones isolated are gas zone's. Not to worry as A1 well will be better placed. Unbelievable how the share price has drop today on just one well setback. Overdone can't say anymore. Atb

Southwark A1 is not abandoned but may be delayed which means Blythe H2 would be next. From the RNS...

A joint venture decision is expected shortly on whether to directly resume the Southwark A1 well as planned or prioritise the Blythe H2 well (subject to regulatory approvals), which would allow valuable time to incorporate A2 learnings into the A1 completion plan.

The share price of Southwark A2 well was already priced in from the drop a few weeks back. I'll keep moving cash from other stocks into here as this is massively oversold, just unbelievable as the other two producing wells are high cash generator's This is priced as if we have no other assets. Get in now because the company isn't short of cash and we have 32m plus another 65m for phase 2 that hasn't been drawn down yet. Cal energy is a very experienced and rich partner. Your choice but that's my view, gl.

I’m staying put as I know it’s a setback yes, but It’s not going to stop A1 being drilled and A2 will be worked on to try increase gas flow.
I wish you all the best whatever to decide.

====================

I think you need to reread RNS if you have hope for A2.
