We have to remember the rig is there because the gas is there, this field will not be abandoned like an appraisal well would be as it's a proven high quality gas field that's bei rectified to get high production rate's. just be patient as I'm £38 grand own investment confident I will make a huge return on my investment. I'm here for the potential Dividend payments when the bond is restructured or repaid. As it stands we can't be paid dividend but soon as this changes the share price will move to the pounds not the pence. I'm very excited in my investment here . Atb

That's not an issue as they've identified three of the six stimulated zone's, so they will be isolated to produce just gas and condensate. The three gas producing zones will now be highly stimulated to maximise gas production. Water zones are quite common and so there's a executed method of isolating when necessary. The main thing is it's not an appraisal well as you wouldn't build a platform there if that's the case. The gas is there it's getting just getting the best flow's without water. Don't be distracted by market noise as to know the process. Atb.

That was pretty much indicated in the RNS on 25th January, no need to look at FinnCap's note, I doubt that they have any additional information not in the public domain.

At the Southwark A2 well we have now taken the production logging data and are preparing to isolate three of the six stimulated zones.

Southwark water problems may remain

I'd still be cautious about assuming that the water problem at A2 is fully resolved.

I found this wording that concerns me from the broker finnCap's latest not on IOG: "Production logging data from the Southwark A2 well has identified that water production is predominantly emanating from three of the six stimulated zones in the well."

It suggests that there may be residual water production even after isolating the three main zones where water was being produced after the initial testing.

As the Saturn Banks reception facilities are already at maximum water handling capacity due to the water being produced at Blythe, going forward and adding production from Southwark into the pipeline will be another problem.

The zone's are probably already isolated now imo, hence the huge flare from the satellite image over the Southwark platform. it's going to be an exciting week I do believe for us shareholders. Dyor. Now back to doing some gardening. Gla.

I agree, I bought in big because of the fact that the right man is at the the top now Rupert Newall and the new COO Dougie Scott m. He is probably the best experienced operating officer we could have found. Imho Southwark will be a big success as the best are on behind it. The gas is there that's not an issue so when they've isolated the water production zones then we'll see the higher volume gas coming through. A1 well will be positioned west of A2 to make sure it's tapped in the exactly the best area to reduce the possibility of any water zones again. Dyor as usual but I honestly think this will be put right very soon as the gas is already proven so it's not an appraisal we'll. please remember that. Atb.

What matters is what people believe. Talk of a big flare could gather momentum very quickly and the price could easily double as people rush to get back in. There doesn't need to be any firm news for this to happen.

Apparently the images are from soar.earth so it should be possible to check the recent one. I managed to zoom in on my wheely bins but it's not so easy to locate Southwark, anyone see it!?
