So can we assume that the May report will arrive on the 6th June or thereabouts?

6/5/2014 - IO#6 Production Plant

"IO#6 construction continues to move forward as planned. The Company recently decided to only use Company construction employees for the completion of IO#6, resulting in significant cost savings. The commissioning time line is expected to be unchanged and, as reported, IO#6 is expected to be operational by the end of Q2"

Haven't seen these pics of IO#6 before (looks like end of last month posted as dated April) but it appears to be a large site and nearly ready to go (per above operational within weeks).....all they need then issome large brine supplies.... As a temporary solution, LB said they are working hard with Chesaspeake to get some brine re-routed : )

imo 6 plants producing even half their full capacity will change sentiment quickly, looking forward to that, May production update will hopefully be a trigger. Possibly a couple of mobiles in the mix.

Mister Big, nice to see you popping in.
Netters buys in to the conspiracy theory. Hell, this morning he even thought that I had knowledge of where the company was going.
If I did, I would be either buying or selling shares very urgently.
I'm doing neither, because IOF is not on my radar much at the moment.
It is not a significant enough value for me to follow.
I am merely a bruised and battered investor who sunk WAY too much in to a share on the way up (and down)

Now, Mr Big.... if you were to do something about this lamentable value, then it would be greatly appreciated.

Monty,

You don't understand me. In fact your point should make you more worried, not less. The pernicious structure of the bonds coupled with a (deliberate?) failed I strategy leaves you as shareholders victims in waiting. Ruthless.

I've no idea what this it is all about, 3 analysts ??

As of May 03, 2014, the consensus forecast amongst 3 polled investment analysts covering Iofina plc advises that the company will outperform the market. This has been the consensus forecast since the sentiment of investment analysts deteriorated on Apr 25, 2014. The previous consensus forecast advised investors to purchase equity in Iofina plc.

The one analyst offering a 12 month price target expects Iofina plc share price to rise to 160.00 in the next year from the last price of 39.75. View Full Financials

Having noted the US city Pomona now has it's case against SQM north America reinstated I thought I'd look at what is was all about.

It seems the fertilisers SQM supplied many moons back ended up contaminating the ground water putting it above acceptable levels in one contaminant.

That meant years of work taking action, treatment and dilution to ensure water entering the domestic market was safe.

I suspect the claim will be for all the costs involved, which I would imagine are quite sizeable.

Hunting around I found comment on the subject in SQMs 2012 report-:

In that report they have other cases and for each they register an estimated cost should they lose the case.

For the Pomona case the cost is listed as 'not possible to determine'

Netters,

Don't know whether you know but Stena Investments is the family investment vehicle of the Olsson Family. CF made them a fair packet in Expro. IOF are fortunate to have billionaire backing.

I think AGM is due by mid June. Hopefully by then the LB micro-management effect will have resulted in a decent uplift in production figures. Reading between the line the production rate is now around the all important 1t/day rate.

Above average temperatures in OK hopefully mean better brine extraction as long as the tornados stay away.

IO2 is meant to be a $15-20/kg plant so assuming IO2 produces 20,000kg per month at a $20/kg cost that alone is $400k+ per month gross profit.Add the $3m+ profit Chem division makes it starts to look quite rosy.

Maybe IOF should look into renting out GENSET units. If you can rent them out for nearly $100k per month in OK then that must be a good rate of return on capital investment??!!

So why didn't Chris simply increase his $15m to $20m? Tell them about the row... tell them what happened.

Hi clueless !
It's the prince of darkness - actually I'm
Beginning to think there maybe something in that oil rumour after all. I read a report saying next door neighbour is drilling successful wells .
I worked at Berkshire Hathaway for a while and the great Buffett story was ;
Oil man dies and goes up to heaven and is greeted by St. Peter who says the oil compound is full - the oil man says give me a minute with the guys - St. Peter says fine - the oil man gets a chair and shouts oil discover in hell and everyone stampedes out !
St. Peter says that was slick you have the compound to yourself - the oil man says nope ! I'm off to hell there maybe something in that rumour .

Netley you really are a dope - but I love the fact it's driving you nuts , I must be in your head !!!

Remember, the guy you all love? Arron Banks? 30 thumbs-up? Shorted this from 200p and has now picked-up via the bond... $5m @40p, plus his 4m+ shares between 50-60p? And what about his target? 125p? You do know he wants the share price lower... don't you? You do know he wants to sell the production arm... don't you? You did know that?

Lance is not the really interesting issue here. Be careful not to dwell too much on his sale, while ignoring the real power here is slowly but surely... being transferred.

Zendo I don't know if you have just turned up, but don't recall posts by your avatar before. I don't think many people are ignoring the the issue. I think some may not see it as relevant and therefore may not care, I think others have an answer from unofficial channels and are satisfied at least for now, I think some may want an answer by plan to ask at the AGM, I am sure it will be asked there, and I think many just don't discuss it on here even if they are troubled by it, does not mean they are ignoring it.

The parts of that AIM document you referred to seem clear. It should have been notified. What is not clear to me, is whether IOF are a non-DTR company, in which case they may not need to comply in the same way (see rule 17 note on page 38 of that document).

So, do you know of IOF are a non-DTR company?

IF Lance informed the nomad, and the nomad did not RNS it, then they must have had a reason?
