29/4/2014 09:49 | If TW could now put they will need a buyer for excess iodine, and that there is no chance of that, it would be much appreciated making such sales a certainty. There is no way imo he didn't know that was coming hence all the desperation to say the complete opposite, to scare investors Surely the 'others' knew it too. I personally try to keep a daily track of what news my come up re Cosayach and others in Chile. Plus the gov reforms. Yet to affect the market I SQM reduced production (suspected 3000mt). That gap was filled by Algorta, Bullmine and Cosyach. Algorta will be near maxed out as they will need another pipeline for extra, and those take years Cosayach are said to be in trouble, but churning out iodine and cutting the price to just get cash in Suspected 3700mt rate from lows of 1800mt. Sirocco forecast 500/600mt less than previously. SQM can't react swiftly. If Cos fail the total with pull backs is 7000mt gone from the market. With 600mt growth mentioned in 2013, and 1000mt forecast in 2014. So there are some factors that could turn the iodine price north swiftly, and very little that could drive it much lower. That's ignoring the court cases for the Cosayach owner and SQM bosses. | ![]() superg1
29/4/2014 09:48 | I can't predict whether Netley will be right or wrong in the long term (neither can he), but one thing I am sure of... Netley will never EVER agree that he got anything wrong. People like him simply can't cope with such an admission, it would mean severe cognitive dissonance. | ![]() cyberbub
29/4/2014 09:47 | Mr Big, in spite of my concern that some posters seemed to have become reliant on you stepping up to save the day as it were, I must say thanks, your intervention has certainly helped stem the doubts and i certainly hope your additional support pays off handsomely in the long run. One thing i dont want is Lance to spend it on an IO plant, according to the 2013 results a plant, instead of costing the estimated $2 mil, its closer to $3.5, that could be of course due to extra costs involved in tweeking the plants etc, but thats a lot of money to spend on something which is then dependent on the O&G partner to provide consistent brine to. I much prefer the idea of the minis, cheap capex ($250k ish), cheap opex (low labour costs and no land lease agreements required), high production rate and most importantly are easily moved. Yum. | ![]() bogg1e

29/4/2014 09:28 | These should be above 50p in the short term now IMHO - and staying there, my reasons below. 1. No financing needed for core operations as the results stated, anybody with doubts - its spelt out today. 2. It means collectively the plants we have built will be able to stand on their own two feet. We may bring plant 5 offline but I'm confident we can beat 400 MT, I posted the figures last week. 3. The financing today now changes my mindset completely. Before today, I was only factoring in growth from the 6 plants built, not much after as I thought we would manage cashflow. We would have kept our good year on year increases in production going from the 6 plants into next year. Now, I must factor in growth over and above plant 6 - probably IO7 this year or a couple of mobile units - or I reckon they can do both. 4. The next plant I know they had sited the location from speaking to Gary, we can diversify. I know plants 3-6 are in ok brines but there are much higher sites available (maybe they played it safe). My conclusion, share price will move past 50p and deserves to short term - maybe back to the 60's? Instead of my 8p next year, full diluted we could do 10p EPS. Market rerate is fully justified IMHO, this is a cracking opportunity, I am deeply impressed by Lances moves. | ![]() che7win
29/4/2014 09:26 | Mr B. i assume you won't be posting again for 'business and other' reasons. Well, I hope you look in from time to time, and I apologise for my less than enthusiastic first greeting when you initially popped up here. I would like to say 2 other things.1, enjoy your wealth and your life, as I discovered yesterday that a friend has developed cancer and one must make the most of every day.2, I hope that your exit price is now WAY above 125p, after seeing what the real potential of IOF is.Good luck for the future.Fest. | ![]() festario
29/4/2014 09:25 | phoenixs, Good post... but I sense this can't make money. Trade it, but buy it? | n3tleylucas
29/4/2014 09:16 | Yes I said last week after the drop that 50p is fair value today IMO... and then build from there in the coming months.Good chance of 100p by Xmas IMO, IF all goes to plan...obviously nothing's guaranteed......but if we get a return to 1000mt in 2015 combined with an iodine price rise to say 60 bucks, then who knows we could be on for 200p by late 2015??No advice intended | ![]() cyberbub
29/4/2014 09:13 | poor old nutters, throwing toys out of his cot. Some you win and some you lose. The tide has turned and Nutters at long last you don't have things going your way.
