Ramu
Think twice, you can get into very hot water making false claims against individuals, especially company directors and large holders. Those guys will want to protect their reputation against any such unfounded allegations and they have deep pockets. They can come after you and sue you for whatever you're worth! And don't think you are anonymous, you will be found if the law gets involved and then you will be up to your neck in the hot brown stuff.

Couldn't resist a read of ramu's posts.

Apparently I've been shorting IOF since 250, wish I had been.

2 shorts in 4 years just to see how it works Ramu on a very very low scale. One was Sareum and a success, the other was M and S and mentioned on the tips thread. Wouldn't even pay for the groceries.

Short IOF? never have, but would have been far better off on the charts, with IOF, however, Even Zak kept calling the chart wrong, I believe 4 times out of 5 wrong, so if he can't get it right more times than not, there is no hope for me.

Should of shorted Avanti, and made a 500/600 point gain, but never did. Accused of being part of a shorting gang there by posters. The same guys that I row with here, go figure.

You have spent months blaming everyone else for your own decisions.

The company gave timelines for various aspects of the business and it has slipped. If they had hit them and delivered as promised these posts wouldn't be here.

So the directors pumped and dumped did they?. Can you please evidence their dump as some have added at higher prices than now, and there are no sells that I am aware of.

Jeff and Lance are about £13.5 mill down (on paper) each, since the highs, please show us their sells to demonstrate the dump and pocketed cash.

So there is a key point missing.

Oh and for investors, where do they or I, suddenly change stance. The only one's that did were trading and they would switch their posts to suit their position (not on about bear).

Croc yes and we can name some GL and AD, they were the first flash crash culprits. Probably about targeting margins with a bit of 'knowledge' and nothing more than that.

If have plenty on filter but note alpha charlie's post.

It's not a heavy call, it's downright ridiculous. Anyone know how to do screen shots of ramu's post, please do and store.

superg: you are I am afraid still concentrating on the empty half of the glass and extrapolating from it!! You should reduce the certainty of your negative views. This not a Chilean iodine resource

Scrut check the news today v the last 2 operations updates.

13 wells in Q3 has now become 12. They report around 4000 more metres drilled than the Q3 update plus Q4 adds up to.

Near $61m revenue last year, and by my reckoning around $28m revenue this year from the details given.

I can break it all down if you wish, but their figures in releases don't match ???

They don't seem to have completed in 2013 year what they achieved in H1 in 2012.

How many wells did they expect to achieve in 2013 ??

Now 180 for 2014 when all they did was less than 1 per week for H1 2013.

My caution about that lot in early 2013 was spot on. Still no test well result, and achievements for 2013 way off what was expected

Ramu, could you provide proof that these investigations are going on? Or is that just another spurious post, aimed at undermining confidence. I believe there is also an investigation into collusion between certain posters and companies shorting IOF. In fact if you look back, there are a couple of posts where derampers mention that they had met/talked to teams shorting this stock. Very underhand, and certainly illegal.

bobbyshilling,

It's not rocket science to figure out the rampers.

You don't come across as a numpty and I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Invest your hard earned money on fundamentals, not on Nudge, Nudge, Wink, Wink, then PING........

Roger, agree with what you say; especially the water project not being priced in. If it does not materialise though for some reason, rest assured, the mms will surely price it out! However, I am more inclined to think that things will be OK with the water permit, but only based on what I have read from the company's rns's, plus logical inputs from respected posters. My view only of course. In fact if the share price drops more I will add again as the iodine alone should see us OK. IOF still has excellent prospects despite the recent problems, plus other irons in the mix.

One other thing, there are quite a few recent high flyers taking a hit over the last week or so. I think some funds are banking profits on small caps.

Bobbyshilling, I agree the water is not priced in as it is "non core" whatever that is.
It all points to the 30th meeting being pivotal for the share price.

The management appear to have gone ultra conservative and wanting to ensure that there are no further deviations to the plan. The Numis figures look short of the mark.

On the longer term iodine side, it may be a couple of months before we see the share price on an upward trend as the new installations kick in.

The gas comment is puzzling, I wonder what is around the corner.

Would that be a realism that on a pe of 7 it equates to a share price of 180p,
With plenty of headroom excluding water. The 30th only 7 days away.

Good luck shorting, you'll need it

Count Chris, some that attended a previous presentation by the company were saying that the water permit application was 99% certain to be approved. Therefore I think it was pretty well priced in, hence the share price fall from 240p odd was more dramatic as we were told about the hiccup. Still, there is every chance that it will still be approved after the meeting this month, followed by the regulatory time till final approval.

There are a lot of people who are saying that approval of the permit is not a real issue as the core project is iodine - even the company say water is non - core in their rns's. However I believe the water permit is important enough to add 50p or so to the share price if granted, and the next one, if applied for and is successful another 50p odd. It doesn't sound very non - core to me, let alone what the company could add with the Atlantis aquafier later on.

I think we are priced on iodine only at the moment, but one should expect a share price drop if the current water permit application should go for ball of chalk. Time will tell, but iodine production alone should see us all OK given time.

"In 3 to 4 weeks we will have two more plants commissioning, which still means iodine production, just not yet optimized. Then the market will take interest again. Thereafter the plant build should be more manageable, predictable and will definitely yield £3 by year end no problem."

"£3 by year end" What planet is this guy on? Have these rampers not learn't anything from the past few months? To expect £2 by year end is being delusional enough. To predict £3 is absolutely astonishing.

A further dive coming up tomorrow as realism sinks in.
