17/12/2013 12:37 | At the end of the day, superg, all that research.....where did it get you? Or us? Every single prediction, every single nudge, wink, nod, and THE PING, has spectacularly failed. I am not a de-ramper, or a troll. I have put my life savings in here. It was my decision only. My finger of blame is pointing at myself. But, really.......researc | ![]() worraps

17/12/2013 12:21 | Why can,t they sell their products? That is worrying, if they can,t sell these volumes what are they going to do with increased production. It's not income till it's sold and the cheque cashed | freshvoice
17/12/2013 12:05 | Looks like the wait to buy in lower will be rewarded. Waiting until financials though, another tip in todays RNS as to where they may be. Inventory levels rising once again. I wonder how much working capital is tied up now? | ![]() fireball xl5

17/12/2013 11:53 | Well 2013 was supposed to be a transformational year for IOF in reality they would be hard pressed to have screwed it up any more than they have - too many concerns to list here given the RNS today but an absolute flop is not an exaggeration. The main issue I see now is cash flow many a good company gone out of business through poor cash flow - they went all in on an accelerated roll out and have failed at almost every turn from actually delivering the plants to building the prill tower they mentioned needing a year ago and now saying end of next year. 17/12/2013 11:44 | Good post Boggle: "When buying into a company like this you have got to be thinking 5 years ahead. Im down 60% but ive seen worse. The share is out of favour atm. When IO4 news comes in the share price will begin to turn again and if the BoD are better at managing the problems they have had thus far with the roll out, we should see the roll out accelerate. For me i shall have to wait a year to catch up, but thats ok i bought with a 5 year outlook." I remember being in BFC and fortunately for me got the heck out when it became clear their new revolutionary technology, wasn't going to deliver. These high risk AIM new technology types really are for people who can accept what they are investing in and the fact that they might get considerably less back if the teething problem associated can't be ironed out, or the price of their chosen commodity goes south. Although I've traded it today OK, I will be watching with much interest over the coming months and RNS's. BTW I don't put as much faith into director buys as other's do, but it's good that they are putting their cash into it for longer term investors. | ![]() bulltradept

17/12/2013 11:36 | My position: Don't hold, have held in the past, might buy again if there is a good rise. As a casual observer and sometime holder, SuperG appeared to do his research and put some informative stuff out...this was not someone who was just out and out ramping with nothing to back up their ramps. I suspect he has been as let down by this company as anyone.... | ![]() molatovkid
17/12/2013 11:34 | The company have chosen to delay some Iodine derivatives sales into 2014, where the price of Iodine is expected to be higher due to Chilean miners scaling back production. Makes business sense, the revenue rolls into next year. While PIs panic, others are taking advantage. No sales have been lost and plant commissioning continues in Q1. Not the time to follow the crowd imo Investec update today : "Iofina's year-end operational update is largely in line with our expectations. However, shipments of iodine chemicals around the year-end will see revenue and profit slip in 2014. As a result, EBITDA is expected to be broadly unchanged in 2013 (ie. breakeven versus our $3m forecast). This is a timing effect. Our longer-term forecasts are broadly unchanged, as is our NAV-derived 230p target price." | ![]() captain_kurt
17/12/2013 11:25 | Short term these are going one way and that's down, anyone looking for a quick buck would be better looking elsewhere imo. Longer term once the retrace has been carried out and 60p revisited then they would be a buy at that point. Who in the right mind will buy these today? unless you have money to throw away for years this is pointless right now. The trend is down, the chart looks very very NASTY points down and the shorters are not letting go. Much much better plays at the moment. Anyone seen superpooh? | ![]() jackabite

17/12/2013 11:23 | Like CK I am going into 2014 with all my holding and some. Is it plants or bpd and ppm we should focus on? Get the bigger plants rolling and the minis on the high ppm sites. | ansana
17/12/2013 11:20 | The new consensus appears to be IOF as a long term project. Unfortunately this scenario doesn't play into the hands of those who are just hanging on to this side of the cemetery gates.
