moormoney (843): no disrespect to our world class team of diggers, but that's a great summary of the 70bn megabytes of info that has been researched and published on here :-)

I see Maisie quotes the Sunday Times comment as the press article.

You must try harder Maisie ;-)

I'm perhaps the other way round. I would prefer all shareholder value to come in the share price rather than dividends as I have losses to set against capital gains. Each to their own but I'd see distributions via dividends as a wasted opportunity for multiple reasons

A comparison with ASOS may be valid in 10 years time, when or if this company proves itself. I cant see the relevance just now. This share was 90p five years ago, not that brilliant if you had invested then.

A takeover would be unwelcome for me as I own all my shares, that means a 28% cut in capital gains if it comes.

Scrutable I'm sure your posts come with good intentions but you are sounding more and more like a classic ramper - constantly referring to ASOS and now Warren Buffet ....!ASOS is a totally different business as has been pointed out here before.
....................................................................................................................

I am forced to repeat myself because your two posts show that I am failing to get my point across.

I quote ASOS not because there are any similarities in the business but because ASOS is THE outperforming share of the last decade and I have quoted evidence that the IOF share price has been escalating from 16p to 240p at a 60% faster rate. This comparison is made not to ramp but to establish a truth: that noone can expect to take cash off the table from the inevitable bid when it comes from an endangered competitor or far sighted equity fund and then reinvest it on anything half as good as the IOF proposition.

What will you do? Put the proceeds in your Piggy Bank?

That is I hope my last word on the subject. Further repetition will obviously irritate and can add no clarity or persuasion

The beauty of being such an unlikable poster? Only the people I intend to read 835 ... will read it. Good eh? LOL ...

Being sent to Coventry means ... you can go to town, unhindered.

Not sure that I can add more at the moment to your question on Iochem. At present my attention is diverted elsewhere, Scrutables black swan has just crashed into my OXB holding!
