nelly, they are obsessed if people manage to make a bob or two, and they can't stand it. Sad, but there you are, it's obvious from some of the comments on this board. Most are happy for people who can find a winner or two in the markets - it's hard enough as it is, without some trying to warn us what nit-wits we all are. :)

" And leave us in peace!"

It always amuses me when a poster speaks "for the group"! LOL ...

Firstly, there is no group.

Secondly, you are not the imaginary group's imaginary spokesperson.

Thirdly, SHONNY is correct, so what does that really say about you?

Fourthly, you would be better NOT in an ISA, (because you can then offset tax-losses) AIM companies are prone to disaster, and this has started to smell funny.

Especially the shares that have been seriously over hyped by clueless ramping idiots.

That's the excitement of the ISA over for many, now comes the serious business of the CEO.

This mornings ISA buyers have been mugged already. Fools have rushed in. Now there's a surprise. Never mind, they'll be £4 by Xmas,or was it £5.

Bought some for the wife's ISA through HL. Will attend to mine when I decide what to sell as I am fully allocated for this year.

Re trouble or delays in Bed&ISA.

I said above that TDW did it well financially, after I eventually got through, but to add detail, although it was possible to open a share ISA easily on their website, I had to use the phone to action the transfer. Surprisingly to me, the dealer took about 10 mins "referring to the market" whilst I held on the phone. He afterwards said he had to separately seek sell and buy deals to achieve the 0.5p spread. It was not a simple instant process. I guess it was worth TDW's approx. £50 charge on top of the 0.5p spread then!

EDIT: I also use H&L for funds and other shares, and endorse comments re their general excellence
