10/12/2014 16:45 | Once Iof get their legitimately acquired permit - I think Ames should be turned in & his permits rescinded - that should create quite a spike in the water price methinks..... | pcjoe
10/12/2014 16:29 | I am sitting here with my chin hitting the keyboard...I mean how blatant can they be about this...not really trying to hide it. They must have someone working on the 'inside' who just passed it through....but why, what was in it for the inside party???? | awolagain
10/12/2014 16:21 | Nice intraday reversal, although volume is a bit low... | cyberbub
10/12/2014 16:13 | Awol More fun for you. Another Ames depot. LOI from Agri industries owned by John Ames. And another from Savage Ames water solutions. The address for Savage is the same as Agri industries owned by John Ames. The last letter was from an old fave Wild cat trucking with writing that looks like good old Neil Iverson. The bureau asked for more details on all 3. Ames replied with 3 entirely new LOIs for different companies ignoring anything said about the original 3. I think LOI means load of idiots. Delboy would be impressed with this lot. | superg1

10/12/2014 14:42 | Bought a few more this morning, as the price is just stupid now. Assuming that they continue producing around the 40mt rate and flog it as derivatives. GLA | 1madmarky
10/12/2014 14:41 | Very interesting superg1, all sounds highly dubious and I am glad you're passing it on to Iofina! | cyberbub
10/12/2014 14:05 | Oh, how I wish I had some spare cash! I bought my first batch of these almost 3 years ago at 31p. It looks as though it will be possible to buy more cheaply than that soon, though I don't expect the sales to last throughout January! | roboben
10/12/2014 13:48 | You can't make it up. No greenbacks involved just prizes. David hardy sorted a depot with John Ames. Hardy is the signed seller on the LOI the buyer is John Ames but they would not know that as it's just his signature. Amazingly since that time Hardy won a competition ($15,000 worth prize) run by Agri industries (John Ames). A competition he didn't even enter. The fact the prize was won just a few weeks after the permit got it's preliminary determination to grant, is of course coincidental. No wonder Denise is paranoid. Sorry for all the dragon comments. | superg1
10/12/2014 13:44 | It would be a turkey shoot if any of the Ames depots raised an objection :-) They are probably be more interested in getting a Clingon cloaking device, not putting a target on their back. | superg1
10/12/2014 13:20 | SG I take your point about her position regarding our application. However, if her position regarding us was because she was duped on other applications she must stand down and a review carried out of all past applications? Or is that just to easy and would it create a bigger problem that we don't need right now? Like to hear the news on that letter...what a nightmare! | awolagain
10/12/2014 13:15 | We need Rosco P Coltrane on the case. | monkeymagic3
10/12/2014 12:59 | I wonder if Ames is behind the objection.? Maybe tipped off by someone that saw the PDTD overturned and is operating in cahoots with him.? This is all turning into an episode from the Dukes of Hazard. I have this picture of Ames being Boss Hog in charge of everything going on in the district. | battery
10/12/2014 12:51 | I should add that I have passed some findings on. The feedback seems to be I am very much barking up the right tree and the DNRC have realised what has gone on (N S Sherlock), hence the heavy scrutiny in recent times. | superg1
10/12/2014 12:34 | Awol As Sancler pointed out it was astonishing to see what it was rejected on based on what has gone on before. I note Ames in recent times out in a change of use/extraction point in for one of his depots. The bureau have refused and it's going to a hearing. It all tends to explain her caution over the IOF permit. She was pedantic about the Atlantis LLC v Atlantis INC. I think I can now see why. I must track down that other LOI on another permit which goes on about how great it would be if John Ames go the permit as the other depots are soooo expensive. The 'other' depots are effectively John Ames. I hope that letter is from Agri or wildcat.... I'm hunting now. | superg1
10/12/2014 12:21 | Wow...that is the most damming info...the bigger question still stands. Did 'madam' know all this or was the wool pulled over her eyes. I would not think that this was brought to her attention and she upped the game when IOF applied, otherwise Agri would have had the permits revoked? But then she would have to resign on the grounds of her department having been grossly negligent? The plot can't be any thicker....?? | awolagain
10/12/2014 12:18 | thanks for that SG It is looking increasingly unlikey that our permit application will go to another hearing :-) | monts12
10/12/2014 12:12 | fresh, i dont think so, if anything i dont envy her position, with pressure to perform her constitutional duty vs pressure from corporations and lobbyists etc. I imagine her job is not quite as easy as we would believe. | bogg1e
10/12/2014 11:17 | Super That is the most generous explanation of Denise's action one could possibly invent! I can think of another that involves greenbacks as a possibility! | freshvoice
10/12/2014 11:07 | This is all beginning to sound like the European Union. More bureaucracy = more dosh for the bureaucrats to roll around in. BTW I will be voting for UKIP even if Jimmy Savile is the local candidate. | joestalin
10/12/2014 10:49 | All this bureaucracy of course is keeping many bureaucrats in high paid jobs. It is in their interest to prolong each case; this is an excellent opportunity to keep the case going from one appeal to another. | roundup
10/12/2014 10:43 | Fest Yep Bureaucracy at it's finest levels, in a state that doesn't get out of first gear for anything. I think Top gun is about to premier at the local cinema. I'm amazed the bureau has a website. ND has the same problem as all the temporary 'illegal' irrigation permits covering the frack industry are still in play as their isn't enough water available under industrial permits. As a result their concerns about the aquifers which are dropping like a stone are being over-looked. It's the same aquifer that some depots in Montana are using. The permit digging continues to bring up some seriously dodgy looking beneficial uses. Judging on how hard Denise Biggar challenged on IOF's beneficial use, I think I know why. She now realises John Ames and co pulled the wool well and truly over her eyes, and she doesn't want to be caught out again. | superg1 |
