$80k per day if they take this forward by themselves, if sold for $1 per barrel.

On a PE of 20 with 127M shares in issue. Thats a share price of £2.80.

Margin of error....drop it by 50%. That's a share price of £1.40

Just on the water non core business

"Remember market makers dropped this by 35p pence on the preliminary determination to deny!!!!" That may be so but, given the poor performance of the main iodine business it could be said that the fall was from a totally unrealistic level anyway.

I've been watching IOF for some time, but what is the significance of the water permit being granted, I thought this wasn't material?

TIA

Orslega,
I suspect a lot of the harassment with the Bureau was vindictive and not from investors.

Superg, I have no sympathy for all the fund managers who received presentations this week and didn't act on it, i.e. most of them.
They had an opportunity to sweep up shares at silly prices based on the blossoming iodine investment, they have really missed a trick, water is a bonus.

No rns imo so catch those mm's while they wonder wtf is going on.

IOF need to wait for the official letter which goes out first class from the hearings unit, posted by Jamie Price (the Mr Price Leggit was on about).#

There is another page to watch that tells us the day the letter is sent.

The above comment is based on what has happened before, Numis may have a different view, but in he past the receipt of official confirmation by post is the trigger to release news.

We are still waiting for the 'yes' entry in the objection deadline box, once that is done a lot of details will be available.

Well done to those folks that read here, for having the courage to stick with what is a potentially lucrative investment. IOF have a great team, I suspect the issue of the water permit will equate to a JV of some type with a sizeable lump of cash appearing up front.

On the shorts on IG, 2 of them lost their bottle pre interims but 2 held on.

I believe a fund manager took a punt on a chunk below the current price when it hit it's low.

excellent news, sg1 always said there was no reason to deny, well done sg1...what is not clear did they get all they applied for?

...the permit would almost have certainly come sooner if IOF pi's hadn't harrassed the Bureau (remember Lance Baller commenting at the time) - lesson learnt there for sure...let IOF deal with them from now on without further interference........: )

Feels like Christmas morning today. Business model diversified and de-risked. After the hammering this share has taken from the water permit being set back over the past 12 months, we can surely expect some form of re-rating next week.

Seems there were a lot of shareholders ready to buy last week, but didn't quite pull the trigger.

It's quite usual, we wait for others to make the first move....we were headin to +55p on the much better than expected results.

Heartwell, are you currently short or long, bears are in for a right headache next week.

The downward trend continues. Thank you for filling my pockets."

Ansana, I'm glad to hear IOF staff had a celebratory lunch. They were enthusiastic back in March, one thing they were always sure of was that it would get granted, well done them.

Glad I topped up earlier this week! Was tempted to buy again on today's weakness but didn't. In for the long term and looking forward to Iofina repaying long term shareholders.

well done on your resiliency. You never doubted that it should be approved, tonight you have been proved correct.

I understand that the IOF staff have had a celebratory something or other but are now back at work. I would like IOF to know that I too have celebrated. I am just about to celebrate again with a second glass.

Congratulations IOF at last the break we have all waited patiently for. Our time has come again.

The wife usually sleeps through my dutiful Iofina updates but, by God, did she wake up just now when I told her we might be able to ditch Asda and start shopping in Tesco again! Brilliant news of a Friday night and roll on Monday!

Could be a lot more Battery, looks like RB are a train wreck. The inventory overhang is about to go. Prices will recover in tandem
with our increased production! We are now spinning off cash in poor internal and external conditions so yes, let's look forward to the future!

Yup, saw that. A gain of $1.25M cash for the quarter. Despite the ongoing spend. Shows that revenues are strong to my mind. All achieved in a market of relatively weak iodine prices. So, how much net cash could they earn per quarter with a stronger iodine price.?
