Hmmmm PJ ramping Fum on iii, something's up, more suckers to bring on board so that he can stick in a nice easy short. Where's hurricane, he usually brings them down to earth with a bump!

Well done Battery. I wish I had purchased later.First bought around 8p some time ago and topped up at 5.5p, so I can not grumble.

QFI turning around nicely now.

Saw them tipped 6months ago when aroun 10-12p and after researching them decided they had a while to go before any positive changes would happen. So put on watch list and they have been falling consistently since that tip (Pro-active investor column).

Sea trial results out very soon (and rumoured to be positive) so figured last week was a good time to dip in. Bought at 5.25p with a 'fun punt'. Almost 100% in 8 days.!! Bought a lot more today following the RNS regarding Saudi tie up.

I know of both of those since iii FUM days. CRA I followed for some time but never invested. The have to get the tech working, but I note it has been in a long decline offering good value, if they can turn it around.

I have been in GKP for a couple of years but am not tempetd to sell yet. I have 2 dogs that seem to be on the mend, both undervalued. QFI have the technolog for the manufacture of a low cost substiitute for heavy fuel oil. New EU reguations announced highlights the potential in shipping.Power generation is the other main target.QFI have bee partnered by Maersk and the latest information released is positive. CRA have a devics for extracting stranded gas and other technologies with lots of potential going forward. CRA purchased a company in the defence industry and are not now a one trick pony. Both high risk/ high reward.

Sorry folks... GKP again.. I always watch it with wonder and awe. Now that the RNS is out anyone like to predict what will happen to the price over the next 180 days?

I tipped GKP as a buy when it hit 90p a while back. I was stuck in FUM.

Afren is the same but GKP is currently where it was before the oil price plummet so best watch imo.

As I understand most don't sell because they would have so much tax to pay. Well, the tax bill has crashed now, but they will hold on for the recovery, then not sell due to the amount of tax they would have to pay. .............. and then .............

I know the feeling, that's why I've gone the SB route, it saves any issues in that regard or form completions.

GKP has taken such a tumble, I do know someone who got in early on and refused to sell @£4.50, just noticed this post off someone else who has done similar.

'If I had sold my significant holding at £4.20 I would have been able to pay mine and my partners mortgages off and buy a new car and have money in the bank and have paid all my CGT and still have enough to buy the same amount back again today that I held previously...

I'll still keep holding however as what I never had I can't miss...

Hindsight is wonderful isn't it... just don't do the maths....'

It seems to be on terminal decline at the moment but there must be a turning point, surely?

Not my tip, but just relating back to Scrutable's post a while back, where he placed Globo ahead of IOF at that time. They have risen nicely and hope that it goes some way towards redressing the balance for him.

NEW New World Oil

8.375p mCap 20.4M

Oil explorer in Denmark and Belize

Massive placing at 8p due to go onto market on 16th March, will be a massive overhang for about another week from placing. Placing gives funding for exploration and drilling.

HIGH RISK but very high potential.

I'm not in yet, but will be when overhang clears as may drop a little.

The information for Westminster Security (WSG)is all there in the header, links and the RNSs. Anything I add would only be conjecture.
