I am now out and would advise others to make a simple black and white choice.

Do you honestly believe that having recently built 3 nearly 4 "state of the art plants" which will now be mothballed that there is a valid viable model for extracting iodine in a profitable manner.

Do you buy the operator re-scheduling story

Do you think they can survive with $2.3m cash

If the answer to all 3 is yes then best of luck. If any answers are no then gulp and get out

Plasybryn / Buffalo.Yes I do still hold most of p/f in GVC, and yes I do regret not putting all IOF in there when the warning signs came shining through. Of course all that is obvious.However, despite my overall portfolio shrinking massively today, I will not be throwing my shares on the fire like many have today. Nor will I buy, because to be honest I have nothing left to buy with.QFI is my other worry. I am not in loss there but I am heartily sick of all 'jam tomorrow' AIM companies, so I may withdraw from that before I get burned again.

I had a lot of faith in lance and the board but not any more
i smelt a rat some time ago and sold most of my holdings i

Conceivably until they got permission to operate IO4 & 5 on the 11th, they may not have known what the flow rate was going to be since it would have been bypassing them (other - presumably - than small off-takes to test ppm's and temp).

Just a guess. Could they not have found out from the SWD operator? Possibly not that simple (or commercially sensitive).

Re what price stopped out? I wasn't (in Iofina too long to fall into that trap), but sold 3K this morning for 24.98 right at open.

Problem is this .

Too many leveraged players on AIM, they have piled and added more more and more.

Good profit have disappeared and the worst thing many would have got liquidated and will never been to recover.

crosseyed, I guess we will won't have much longer to wait for those exact figures for this quarter. At least we have been promised quarterly figures from now on so at least we can all stop floundering around in the dark and have a clearer vision of where this is going.

Despite the problems they have obviously encountered I still feel that with the current iodine situation this is now ridiculously undervalued. I can only suppose people are hoping to get in cheaper still, there are sadly certainly some here trying to talk it in that direction.

Madchick - The trouble is can we believe any of these statments -as Sg said it's only 9 days ago that GL stated that IO4 & 5 have started "full scale production operations"

The writing's been on the wall for a long time with RNS's giving a limited version of the truth.

I'm just annoyed with myself I didn't take heed of the warning signs

I have been a holder since August 2012 - making my first purchases in the 50's and have never traded them until today.

My investment timescale doesn't allow me to just forget about them for 2 years so I've moved on to pastures new.

Love to know what those with stop losses got stopped out at, looks like they smashed the share price first thing, giving very little chance to get out.
