Well done Iofina.

This is a green light for Iofina's business plan.

Stenna must be very impressed with Iofina's current progress and whats to come to offer such terms.

Great news! Looks like IOF will not have to pay the loan back as the chance of the share price being below a pound in 3 year's time IMHO is zero. Onwards and upwards ;-)

Who needs a chart just read this. Iofina PLC forms bullish "Bottom Triangle" chart patternMar 06, 2014Recognia has detected a "Bottom Triangle" chart pattern formed on Iofina PLC (IOF:LSE). This bullish signal indicates that the stock price may rise from the close of 77.10 to the range of 99.00 - 104.00. The pattern formed over 27 days which is roughly the period of time in which the target price range may be achieved, according to standard principles of technical analysis.Tells Me: The price seems to have reached a bottom, showing signs of reversal as it has broken upward after a period of uncertainty or consolidation. A Bottom Triangle shows two converging trendlines as prices reach lower highs and higher lows. Volume diminishes as the price swings back and forth between an increasingly narrow range reflecting uncertainty in the market direction. Then well before the triangle reaches its apex, the price breaks above the upper trendline with a noticeable increase in volume, confirming this bullish pattern as a reversal of the prior downtrend.

Just a piece of the rebuild Noli, can be seen as the removal of an obstacle or the setting of a stone.

A tick on the list of desired outcomes short term. A few more to come.

A shrewd piece of business, this takes away any doubt about short term financing as the roll out progresses.

I was fully expecting it, but the bears were trying to convince investors it was a hangman's noose waiting for IOF.

I'm sure this was quoted in one of the buy notes, GMP I believe said the note would be extended.

A surprise to those that may not have seen that.

Gary (CFO) has plenty of experience in such matters....from Aug 2013 RNS CFO appointment..

"Gary (56) has a demonstrable twenty five year track record of financial experience and expertise. Most recently Gary was Chief Finance Officer of NASDAQ listed Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. ("Ascent Solar").

Gary brings to Iofina a strong background in public company financial reporting and internal controls. He also has experience with private and public capital funding, as well as merger and acquisition activity on both the buy-side and sell-side."

Iofina recently presented to Funds/Institutions. Financing now sorted should mean funds now buying - and hopefully Ennismore closing their short : )

Ansana, I agree with you. Whilst I'm not sure quite what the market will think, the company and the finance officer must be given credit for what seems an ingenious solution to a financing problem. And, totally unexpected!

Saw that Lundin comment. Pure speculation but that would be Sirocco (Rb energy connected)

Those guys have gone for lithium with Canada lithium, Sirocco cash providing the funding for the lithium side.

They still have heap leach on the iodine side, but I doubt the ALP will rise from it's shut down. Their main topic looking to the future is lithium iodide batteries. As we know the tests on those are looking very interesting v current lithium batteries (double the capacity) but they could be years away.

That said on small company share price has flown on a solid state version that must be a decade way from commercial viability.

IF lithium iodide batteries do break through commercially in the future then iodine demand will rocket.

They already exist of course in the form of pacemaker batteries due to their longer lasting charge, and better safety.

Ansana It was good negotiation but the even cleverer bit was to get your funder in as a major shareholder as well. Stena will benefit more as a shareholder than they have lost by easing their lending criteria. Hence the 'interested party' declaration. We all win all round. This RNS should have a very positive impact on the IOF share price.
