07/6/2013 10:12 | naphar- "search for a water right" from water right menu at top of page, "advanced search", select county, pending status and water marketing. In theory if you select the link on the LHS of the line referring to the Atlantis application a new page will come up defaulting to a map with the site highlighted (which hasn't worked for weeks). Clicking on the abstract button should bring up the paperwork, but since they made the application visible to all, this isn't working either! Back to work now. | ![]() rugrat2
07/6/2013 10:03 | Prefer the BOD to concentrate on delivery rather than a change of listing. As pointed out at the presentation, it is onerous and would require more management to manage it. The plus side being greater exposure for the company and for us a boost (probably) in the share price. AIMHO | ![]() 1madmarky
07/6/2013 09:54 | Yup, let's get the business reporting some profit first. I did mention a main listing to Lance at some point last year, to which he said there were no plans. Long term, I think it depends on whether they stay independent, if they end up a £Billion company, then there is an element of sense to a main listing, but not in the near future. | ![]() diggulden
07/6/2013 09:51 | Agreed a full listing would be better in the long term, but for now the management priority should be to execute their strategy and rollout the new plants to expected timescales, not wasting time on a full listing. | sundance 13
07/6/2013 09:48 | This is now a £300m company. Many potential investors will not touch it unless it gets a full listing. CR is right to highlight this. | n3tleylucas
07/6/2013 09:46 | My neighbour the pilot tells me it's quite a common feature in those planes and works quite well, so not lucky he had it I suppose. But lucky he landed in a tree in a garden and not the main road 50 yards away! | skylite
07/6/2013 09:44 | A full listing would be very expensive and time consuming for management, so I do understand why they have avoided it to date. Better to focus on executing their strategy at this time than wasting management time on a full listing. Next year would be more realistic. | sundance 13
07/6/2013 09:40 | Well they avoided a proper US listing to save money and avoid deep scrutiny, so logically there's absolutely no chance of a full listing here. | n3tleylucas
07/6/2013 09:35 | Agreed, full listing would be a big positive. | sundance 13
07/6/2013 09:34 | Hi superg,Thanks for the welcome!Fwiw I'm unlikely to sell out completely, just top slice. This is my largest holding currently due entirely to the share price performance this year, so a trim is probably in order to de-risk and free up cash for further investments.Bought a few petrofac this morning, think current valuation and price offers an excellent entry point. | sundance 13
07/6/2013 09:34 | A full listing of a stock has a significant effect SG , all of a sudden those funds that would but cant due to their investment mandate would start taking positions in stocks that meet there criteria, mkt cap , profit making etc. j. ps not been mentioned by the iof board as far as i am aware, a move to a full listing. pps aim has been full of massive casualties, but to a certain degree that's why it it came to exist, for every 1 stock that succeeds there will be 5 that collapse. it happens on the main market too but to a lesser degree due to better transparency. | ![]() jonnyno1
07/6/2013 09:25 | I think a few on here have stoked the fires a little re. CR ... now why could that be then? hmmm ... | n3tleylucas
07/6/2013 09:22 | I think your getting too close to CR after reading your posts down their overnight. Lets not forget this was a guy who was out to trash IOF at 1 point yesterday and because of pressure from this thread has softened his stance. The less we hear of that man and his thread the better. Move on. | ![]() mechanical trader
07/6/2013 09:15 | I always love the lucky word. So out of the millions of planes up there he was the one in the one that conked out. The end result is irrelevant, If I'd been in the plane as a passenger, and realised I wasn't in a harrier jump jet, but was descending vertically, I wouldn't have been applauding my luck. lol Great re the parachute, and what a great advert re who thought of that. | ![]() superg1
07/6/2013 09:07 | City While I think water rights will cause a sudden move in the share price, and think it's a given, we just have to wait and see what happens re the application process. They have the rights swap to drop back onto anyway, so it's coming at some point. On a different subject, one I dismiss due to following AIM's, what are the views here, both ways, on full listing of AIM shares, it was a point mentioned on the CR thread. So if IOF went that way one day, what opinions do some have here, re the impact of that (positive or negative), if it were to happen. | ![]() superg1
07/6/2013 08:59 | L2 please diggers, looks like another bad day ... | n3tleylucas
07/6/2013 08:43 | I've seen Jeff's figure of 99% for the chance of water permit success be banded about by a number of people here... I'd like to remind you all that he actually said 99.9%! ^_^ And for context, those that attended know Jeff's presentation was markedly conservative. He did not ramp or talk in hyperbole. Not a bad chance of success for a freebie that we don't even need! | ![]() cityblocs
07/6/2013 08:33 | Rugrat, "The amended application has been visible (if you queried the system)" What page do you use to query the system? Even now when using their search facility (with the map of counties) I cannot find it... Is there another page to "query"? | ![]() naphar
07/6/2013 08:22 | We all have our opinions, I can see the point in being wary, I don't like AIM stocks that operate in China or the volatile area's ending in 'stan' and wouldn't even contemplate them. Can we move on now? | the librarian
07/6/2013 08:17 | Well thank heavens we had the good sense to abandon burning at the stake before bulletin board heresy. | ![]() uppompeii
07/6/2013 08:04 | I know - I heard the plane spluttering overhead and thought that doesn't sound right. Couldn't see it though, despite it sounding really low, because at that time in the morning it was quite misty here. Lucky fella. If he was trying to get to the Set then that's not a bad option parking wise, as close as you'll get really. Yeah we had a laugh at being called bumpkins too. Happy to be one and invested in Iofina! | skylite
07/6/2013 07:55 | I read the CR thread spat with some interest as I have held these shares since 90p and am sitting on a substantial profit which I'm tempted to bank.I can see both sides of the debate, superg has made some exceptionally well thought through responses detailing the bull case, but i don't think CR is interested in this type of share full stop (foreign owned aim stock). | sundance 13
07/6/2013 07:37 | Thanks everyone for clarifying the water rights applications. Much appreciated as ever. Been away in sunny Turkey so still catching up on the excellent posts. | ![]() bobsworth |
