Termo has shut down, warren is off at the moment, Anticline on/off. I asked the company on the above, make of it what you will. But i really would not waste your time on them, it old tech, iof have moved to iosorb now where yeilds are better.

noli,

Battery's spreadsheet refers to X1, M1, W1 (whatever they are), Anticline and Termo as apparently producing (particularly M1). Warren is also referenced, though with no data as it was apparently transferred to a higher ppm site elsewhere. There are also references to S and Devon, though with no data provided. I'm trying to find IOF-sourced references to most of these.

I believe the cold wets are on and off, so i now am not considering them in any forecasts.

Edit: California has quite a bit of red tape, however Oklahoma and Texas want your business. I am presuming you are referring to Anticlie & Warren, warren i believe had a shortage of space and requires more land which the operator is working on. Anticline is on/off but i am not sure why.

noli,

Thanks for that. However, looking at Battery's spreadsheet (referred to me by Bobsworth) which was last updated on 16/09/2013, the figures are suggesting 20 mT/mth or more from the various WET pods. That is not insignificant, especially compared with the 5 mT/mth from recycled iodine incorporated in sg's forecasts.

crosseyed, forget about them as they are old tech and work off cold brines.

Edit: they are/were 60% yeilds where as the new tech is high 90's

I am enlisting help in understanding the current role of the WET pods which I believe are small units placed on contracted sites to take iodine-rich brine, normally a waste product for O&G producers.

My reading indicates that there are several of these, located in California, Oaklahoma, Texas (possibly) and Montana (within IOF's Atlantis area) starting in late 2009. It is suggested that these units can produce up to 2.5 mT/mth of iodine dependent, of course, on brine supply and I-concentration.

I have not seen any hard information about the financial arrangements, though it looks to me as though IOF provides the equipment and operational running of the units (described as "turnkey") and also pays a market rate for the produced iodine which IOF then further processes through its Chemicals division. Is that correct?

If so, then that source of iodine would be rather more expensive than the iodine extracted through its mini-sites, ie IO#1-3.

cityblocs etc.

I did not say I was upset, I said I was disenchanted with the shareprice.
Why on earth I should receive a deluge of moral lectures as a result is beyond me. Believe me, none of you know anything about me, or what I am, or do, in my life. If you did, you would all be feeling completely silly right now, in giving me such patronising remarks. Most of my life is spent in helping others, in the course of each of my days, if only you knew! I'll just say two words:- Red Cross. Ever heard of them? If I talked about that institution, I would no doubt be given a slap for that too.....because it's not about IOF. I cannot win!

This bulletin board I thought was a place where all things related to Iofina can be aired and shared.....and that includes the shareprice! Because I mention the shareprice, how on earth does that make me an uncharitable person?

I'm seriously beginning to wonder if some here are losing the plot!

But, to make all the complainers happy......I won't dare to mention the shareprice (heaven forbid) AGAIN, as it is obviously taboo, and very boring. And nothing to do with investing in Iofina of course, is it?

OH, and I googled "ten steps" to see if that would help, and the first item was breastfeeding. So maybe in six days IOF will siphon off part of the company to be a baby IOF? Oh well, maybe not...

Hmm, superg, I'm surprised you can count down to the event. If they know it is going to happen on a certain date, wouldn't it be RNS-able already? Is IO.4 due to be completed in 6 days' time? Although I think you hinted it wasn't something mundane, and although that isn't mundane, we would expect it at some point. But if I have to predict something unexpected, help! A JV wouldn't be something you'd count down (if it was that certain, I think it would be RNSd). Permit, again, you wouldn't count down. A new find, again, you wouldn't count down.

Anyone else going to join in??

With regard to our portfolios not performing quite as we would wish, my daughter would rightly point out that these are "First World Problems". As you say Johncsimpson a little perspective is needed at times.

And the message is spreading to new institutions.
Not long for Iofina to retest their highs IMO

Well 4 months so far.

Let's hope the prediction accuracy has improved, the odds certainly have.

In Roosevelt County's East Tule Field, Weil Oil, LLC has been approved to drill the Weil-Bridges 2, located at SE NE 15-30N-48E (1947 FNL/325 FEL). The well targets the Nisku Formation at a proposed depth of 7,600 feet. According to the Board of Oil and Gas Conservation database, this is the first oil well for the firm, which is based in Richmond, Virginia. Parent company Weil Group Resources, LLC, however, is no stranger to Montana. Subsidiary Weil Helium, LLC's initial project is the production of helium from a 6,500 acre project near Rudyard, Montana. According to the company, the area has strong helium flows from a reservoir that exceeds 2,000,000,000 cubic feet. Helium is produced when natural gas is refined. In 2012, a press release posted on Senator Jon Tester's website referred to Weil Helium's Rudyard operation when announcing the Senator's support for the extraction and sale of helium in the Treasure State.
