14/12/2023 08:48 | Money $ is rolling into the bucket very nicely at the top, but there is a bloody tap at the bottom fully open as without a buyback program the share price is slipping away and the market cap of the company in decline. The BOD said that they had set aside a sum for buybacks - when are they going to use that fund? | beercapafn
13/12/2023 17:52 | I’m relaxed. It’s a steady growth stock. Apart from speed of roll out I am happy. Shareholder funds have consistently gone up for 5 years and by June next year they will have funded 2 new plants without having any debt. | chillpill
13/12/2023 17:46 | I have no idea how much IO#8 produces. It is at Arnett. Prior to Covid EOG started a new drill program there. After Covid they pulled out to focus on other areas selling the assets to private operators. It could mean that not as many new wells were drilled in the area as initially expected. We don’t know. It could be IO#2 produces less these days as that was the dominant plant. | chillpill
13/12/2023 17:34 | I dread to think how poorly io8 is doing. We were producing more without it. It must be performing very poorly. | owenga
13/12/2023 17:23 | I think BOD has done well and company is on the up - good short to medium term prospects The only thing I criticize them for is the fact that production is still so low this far down the line. If they start turn the corner with IOF 9 , and then announce another one soon, then we will be in Clover. | rheumking1
13/12/2023 14:13 | A nice little twist at the end of the play ought to keep Beer happy for the time it takes to half-empty his Toby mug! Not that happy...... | beercapafn
13/12/2023 09:18 | ..or not!! | pjl4
12/12/2023 18:50 | Iof Santa rally time again maybe? | naphar

08/12/2023 20:28 | A whole new sales and marketing team was hired, then not a peep about what or how it is performing. All in the last proactive presentation ! | serratia
08/12/2023 10:05 | naphar: Yes some info, but what about the titbits they seed in the RNS and interviews? Major new customer for the chems division, then nothing, A whole new sales and marketing team was hired, then not a peep about what or how it is performing. Excited to say we are actively exploring smaller plants to utilize higher parts per million brine extraction sites. Then nothing. That is the information exchange I am seeking, a follow-up to the journey would help all engage even if is just to say we are no longer pursuing that interest. | beercapafn
08/12/2023 08:08 | I have just bought into Iofina. Encouraged by the growth which, according to Annual Reports (!) is expected to be "transformational" over the next few years. Recent RNS saying "The Company expects second-half production at the bottom, or very marginally below the bottom end of the forecast" is honest and understandable given delay in IO#9. At least it won't be a surprise in the year-end figures. I have only taken a half position though. The one nagging element preventing me from adding further is the reliance of the Iodine spot price remaining high. Does anyone with any detailed knowledge of the company or its history have any thoughts on this? Is the iodine spot price expected to remain high? Can it be hedged in any way? Would appreciate thoughts. | jimtech
07/12/2023 23:11 | Beer I am a shareholder in the company I work for… I get regular townhall meetings, emails from management and lots of knowledge, updates etc because I work there. As a shareholder, all I get are the quarterly reports required of a US listed company plus any other share price sensitive announcements. As shareholders in Iof, we get quarterly updates, half and full year results, rns’s for price sensitive events, proactive interviews and an AGM. As a minority shareholder in a listed company, I think that’s pretty much par for the course. We’d all like to know more I think, but I don’t think we do bad to be honest. I think the only way to really be on the inside track is to be working for them… and if they ever need a new CFO, I may just apply!! It’d be rather interesting I think. | naphar
07/12/2023 22:32 | Email him nelly. His breakfast is unlikely to be price sensitive. | bocker01
07/12/2023 18:42 | I want to know if TB had any breakfast this morning and if yes, why hasn't he bloody updated us all. ffs! | nellyb
07/12/2023 18:29 | Beer - The main drivers for IOF are the iodine price and production volume. TB updates us on price and production volumes. He also updated us on the slower than planned ramp up of IO9. He said IO10 is still in discussions. Seeds a mistake and written down. I know we would all like IO10 to move faster but - IO10 would be another 100 - 150t plant. At 125 tpa and $67 / kg iodine that's $8.4m revenue. 5% royalty to the oil co is $420k. Oil today is $74 / bl.. The earnings from IOF are equivalent to an extra 16 bls / day output. Where do they put their priorities ? My guess is iodine is a low priority especially as it will require new pipelines, removing any oil and operating the brine flow to IOF. When iodine was $20 / kg they'd make the equivalent of 4 bls / day production. I suspect some would need a lot of convincing to make the effort. The only unknown for me is the sales rate. Last year they sold quite a bit less than they produced. Perhaps that's why they've hired a new senior sales guy. What else do you need to know ? | serratia
07/12/2023 16:29 | sarraia: thanks for that. ALL information in the current dearth of anything meaningful from IOF is welcome. Thanks. | beercapafn
07/12/2023 15:39 | Chile production tons / export tons now in. Production to October, exports to November. A good production month in October but too early to say whether the 800 tpa planned expansion has started as it's only 66 tpm on an average of 1380 tpm. Production to October 2023 13789 t vs 2022 13771 t. for the 80% I track. Export tons to November 2024 17709 t vs 2023 17611 t. View - production flat, exports flat. | serratia
04/12/2023 15:56 | Little?Ha... look, don't come on these bulletin boards bragging about your profits, unless you are prepared to be taken to task. | festario
04/12/2023 15:53 | You prove again and again what a horrible little man you are Festario. I won't waste any more of my time with someone as small minded as yourself. You will be filtered now and no doubt you will still respond as you clearly like the sound of your own warped opinions and think you are right about everything. Goodbye. | jwoolley
04/12/2023 15:43 | If any of that is indeed true, then you are still stupid, for not selling when this was in the low to mid 30s | festario |
